Everything. Location is Amazing. Right in the middle of the main tourist attractions and four metro stations. Kremlin at bottom.of street, Arbat at top and Biggest Church just look right on the way to Kremlin! Clean. Helpful friendly english-speaking staff. I was in 8 bed dorm. Spacious. Only two showers and two loos (one in with shower) in whole hostel but never had to wait and always hot water. Big big big common area and separate kitchen. Staff were really friendly they could all speak English and always interested in what i had done during the day and helpful when i asked about anything. Location only 5 min walk from Kremlin and shopping areas. Room was well heated i had the private twin room. Plenty hot water. Great if on budget and good cooking facility's with oven,grill and microwave. Fridge for your food and cupboards.
Everything about this place was perfect. The location was so close to historical places and shopping and drink.
The staff were so helpful whether ordering takeaway for us, ordering taxis (including coming down to the road to get us in the taxi and confirming the price with the drivers) or any other query we had.
I would recommend this hostel wholeheartedly.
First of all people who run the place: professional, helpful, accomodating. Igor is a great host. Secondly, location. perfect for sightseeing and coming home during the day for some rest. Well equipped kitchen with some free amenities. Thirdly, clear rules for the use of common space and facilities. If all follow them, the hostel works like a clock.
The staffs were extremely helpful and kind in any way possible. The kitchen is well equipped and the living room is a perfect space to relax and meet other travellers. The hostel was really warm despite the freezing winter outside.

1. Best location, just a stone's throw away from the Kremlin and metro stations.
2. Commendable staff, they are helpful and English-speakers. Thumbs-up to Yuri, Jamal, Alesya and the other lady (sorry i forgot the name) very warm and welcoming.
We stayed in their family/triple room, which was very spacious and clean. The shared facilities were clean and adequate. The place had a very homely and friendly atmosphere. And being 10 mins walk to the Kremlin, it is really a bargain.

Really comfy beds, big common room, good wifi, cooking facilities, excellent location to walk to red square and kremlin, English speaking staff really helpful.
It is well located near of some tourist places, metro station and personal can speak english, good attention, you could feel it like at home.

Twin room was tiny not much room for 1 person never mind 2.Stayed for 6 nights room was not cleaned once. Shower rooms were so small. I arrived at midnight due to flight delay and the building which is not owned by hostel was dark and had to ring bell in the pouring rain 3 times before a lady let me in.

the double room was more than tiny, not even a chair in it. When full, the hostel can be tight in terms of space and access to bathroom.
You need to wait a bit for hot water if someone else had shower before. You can easily hear the noise from outside the room. Kitchen equipments are not abundant so a bit problematic when other guests are also cooking. The guard at the entrance of the building doesn't speak any english, very pleasant to deal with, but a bit confusing at first on entering the building.
1. No signage. The hostel is not difficult to find at all but better check the building picture and have a copy of it so that you will find it qucikly.
- we could hear all conversations happening around reception as our family room was right next to it;
- the deposit of 1,000 RUB to get a room key. You get your money back at the end of your stay but you do not need RUB any more once you go back home.
The twin room is bunk beds and reallllly small- smaller than our cabin on the train to get there. But the good things out weigh this and we were hardly there anyway.
Maybe the airport is a little away but definetely the hostel is excellent.

the kitchen is a bit small so when there are lots of people, it gets very crowded and facilities not enough for use.
The twin room was very small, just enough room for the bunk bed! The traffic noise was pretty bad all through the night but luckily I had my ear plugs!.
