  we enjoyed time spent in Gdansk and hostel. We were group of friends in one 8-bed room. Hostel was really nice and very good decorated. Guys from reception were very friendly and helpful, advised us main sightseeings and how to get to them fast and cheap even before we asked about that. We enjoyed evenings spent in hostel feeling polish culture and - The room was very spacious and we had a kitchen and bathroom, which we shared with one other couple. The guy at the reception was very helpful and recommended a restaurant, which turned out to serve amazing food at a very cheap price, as it was located just off the touristy area. He also recommended other things to see and do.

  The situation was great in the center of the old town. Roof terrace was funny! It was nice to observe people and very talented street musicians from there. Also the price was right for budget travellers. Overall we felt cozy to stay there and the minuspoints i mention, did not feel annoying. - Everyone says location is great - but it really is. ... vad folk säger » Overlooks Dluga Street (the main street) and just off Dluga Square (the main square). Was even told to make our self at home before payment and he call the next day for payment given a choice of cash or card . This - This familiy owned apartment(s) in the Old town is without doubt the best we have stayed at in Poland. Only five minutes walk from the railroad station, or the restaurants of the Old Town, the location is superb. We did not experience any disturbing street noice at all and the apartment (Rose) had everything you need when it comes to commodities. The only thing I missed was a few english speaking tv channels like cnn/bbc, but for us that was not so important. The wifi connection worked very wel
