  The best thing was the room, we liked everything: the bed, the bed-linen, the bathroom, the design. The food was very delicious. The staff was helpful and friendly.   This place was amazing. While simple in set up it had all we needed! The cabin was on the end and overlooked the water. We could watch the ferry boats come to shore from our window. It was so relaxing. The staff was fabulous, they lent us a hair dryer, and for a small fee we rented our sheets and towels. We also could not locate a laundry mat any ... vad folk säger » where between Bergen and Aurland. The staff at the resort did our laundry for a small fee, which i gladly paid! There were two small markets conveniet - I booked the Vangsgaarden Gjestgiveri as an overnight break in our Norway in a Nutshell tour not really knowing what to expect. It turned out to be a charming little hotel with beautifully appointed common areas and an accommodating staff. Their complimentary breakfast was terrific, as was its location, a historic little house a few yards from the hotel. All considered, we thought it was a real bargain. As a side note, one of the reviewers wrote they turned down the option to stay in a ‘horribl

  We had an apartment on the second floor of a four unit building. The small outside deck faced the fjord, which was nice. Free parking. The facility has a restaurant, with very average food and high prices (high prices are typical in Norway). There are two very good grocery stores in the town and we cooked two dinners in our apartment. This is a go... vad folk säger » od place to stay without having to spend a lot of money. - very friendly and thoughtful owner. we were nicely surprised when he upgrated us (without being asked) to a private apt from a motel room due to the fact the motel where we booked a room was crowdy and full of quite loud large group teenagers. He also exchanged our currency, gave us grat info/suggestions. The place is very clean and neat, with amazing location. Thank you

  The staff was excellent and helpful and gave good local advice. The room was modern if basic like all YHAs. The breakfast was excellent. The location is pretty and right in town.   The view of this hotel is very good, a great lake view. We rent an apartment, it's spacious. The small balcony is good for chat and drinks to view such a great lake. It's easy accessible to the main pier and the supermarket nearby. Flåm is a small town, we stayed for 3D2N, one day we took bus to Aurland for hiking, it's convenient. There are some... vad folk säger » trails for hiking in Flåm. We followed the trails to see waterfall. It's good. - The view from our deck was amazing, probably better than the view from the hotels that are nearer to the reail station and port. The room was pretty big, and had all the facilities needed to cook and eat. For those who do not cook, there is a bar/restaurant on the basement that offers basic meals at fair prices.

  The awesome staff, specially Mr. Stephane Bazin, who did his best to make my short stay memorable! Plentiful options and good quality food for breakfast. Clean room and hotel. Good Wi-fi. The best feature of the hotel is of course the lake, which begins at the footsteps of the patio...
