  Nice welcome in the reception. Good position with a direct view on the lake. Actually a huge camping like place for families with kids. - Location was very nice, and accomodation.

  Delightful staff, the new rooms are very spacious and comfortable although the decoration is not finished, great views, nice village - Location and surroundings. Room facility and quality.

  My husband and I stayed at Citybox from the 25.10.13 to 27.10.13 without any problems. I agree with some reviews below, it is a hostel and not a hotel. However we had a very comfortable stay in an en suite room in an expensive city. This place was not only cheap but also walking distance to everything as Bergen is a small city. Our bed was comfort... vad folk säger » able, our shower was warm and our sleep was uninterrupted. No tv in the rooms but my husband loaded a couple movies for us to watch on his tab. The wi - Very close to the railway (5 min max. walking) and to the city center (10 min walking). Kitchen with microwave oven and tables. The cutlery can be borrowed from the bar opposite to the kitchen. The rooms are clean and the shared bathrooms are most of the times clean (mostly depending on the other guests which are sharing the bathrooms with you). The room had an electrical heating system, which was very good.

  Now this, for Norway was value for money. Staff were very friendly, nice atmosphere in the cafe/restaurant, best pizza I've ever had. Couldn't believe the room and the view from the full wall of window, 20 foot high. There are three flyss buss stops very close - only 40€ to get to downtown Bergen (fish market, the mountain tram, train station) The breakfast was delicious, the room very comfortable - I found the price one of the best in Bergen ...
