  The apartments were fantastic! We were met by the lovely Kari, who showed us to our 6th floor 1 bed apartment. The building itself has good security and a lift, and is very clean. The apartment was exactly what we needed. The bedroom was a good size with lots of wardrobe storage and a nice big window. The kitchen was equipped w - The apartment was well decorated, with all appliances you need. Balcony and a shared terrace was a plus for the "lucky" weather conditions we had. There is a child's playground in the garden and a supermarket right below the apartments. So we've been able to cook at home. Detergent for the dish washer and the washing machine is given - no need to bring your own. Recommended for long stays for leisure or business.

  Excellent breakfast. Fem Steuer restaurant served very good quality Easter buffet. Although we booked the cheapest room, we still got a room with nice view over Oslo and the fjord. Metro link to city center stops quite close to hotel (ca. 5 - 10 min walk, depending if you go uphill or downhill).   Stayed for a weekend, booked a standard double room for one person via letsbookhotel.com. Nice price, 1800 nok for two nights including breakfast. Finding the hotel is easy, it's next to Stortinget in the centre of Oslo. The hotel has rooms with windows opening out to the streets as well as rooms with windows opening only to the restaurant/breakfa... vad folk säger » st area in the middle of the hotel. I contacted the hotel in advance of my arrival, asking for a room with a window towards the street. They responded - Perfect central location. 1 minute from the Parliament, 3 minutes to the Town Hall and harbour. Less than 10 min walk from main train station. Staff very friendly, we even got upgraded from a superior room to a suite. Very clean. Breakfast selection very very good. Free wi-fi included, plus 2 PCs in the lobby connected to a printer, so we managed to check in and print our boarding passes on our last day.

  This is probably my new favorite hotel in the world. So many good things to say, I'll try to keep it short: - The staff at the desk was friendly - and so helpful. Their dinner recommendations were right on when we asked for an affordable dinner - The rooms are decorated nicely and I felt like I was staying in luxury - The shower - wow. All of their recommendations for restaurants were excellent. I research all my hotels before a stay and this was right on target. I would highly recommend it to anybody.   The reception staff was fabulous. I interacted with several of them over three days both to change rooms (I asked if I could move to the front) and due to a lost baggage issue I was having with the airline. I did move to the front where the room's high ceilings and high windows over looking the park were fabulous. The morning buffet was a nice combination of the usual Scandinavian choices and the breakfast room al - The hotel is, as the name implies, centrally-located. It's a one block walk to the Nationaltheatret train/metro station (so getting to and from OSL airport is a breeze!) You're also within easy walking distance of many of the main tourist attractions. The room (I had a double) was quite nice, with large windows and high ceilings. Their breakfast was also on point (definitely worth waking up for, especially given how expensive food is in Norway.)
