  The reception staff was fabulous. I interacted with several of them over three days both to change rooms (I asked if I could move to the front) and due to a lost baggage issue I was having with the airline. I did move to the front where the room's high ceilings and high windows over looking the park were fabulous. The morning buffet was a nice combination of the usual Scandinavian choices and the breakfast room al - The hotel is, as the name implies, centrally-located. It's a one block walk to the Nationaltheatret train/metro station (so getting to and from OSL airport is a breeze!) You're also within easy walking distance of many of the main tourist attractions. The room (I had a double) was quite nice, with large windows and high ceilings. Their breakfast was also on point (definitely worth waking up for, especially given how expensive food is in Norway.)   Stayed for a weekend, booked a standard double room for one person via letsbookhotel.com. Nice price, 1800 nok for two nights including breakfast. Finding the hotel is easy, it's next to Stortinget in the centre of Oslo. The hotel has rooms with windows opening out to the streets as well as rooms with windows opening only to the restaurant/breakfa... vad folk säger » st area in the middle of the hotel. I contacted the hotel in advance of my arrival, asking for a room with a window towards the street. They responded - Perfect central location. 1 minute from the Parliament, 3 minutes to the Town Hall and harbour. Less than 10 min walk from main train station. Staff very friendly, we even got upgraded from a superior room to a suite. Very clean. Breakfast selection very very good. Free wi-fi included, plus 2 PCs in the lobby connected to a printer, so we managed to check in and print our boarding passes on our last day.

  The hotel is situated a mere three minute walk from the central station, which means the location is excellent. This is a minimalistic hotel with the concept "the bare necessities for a lower price" which means that it's perfect if you just need a place to stay for a couple of nights.   This is probably my new favorite hotel in the world. So many good things to say, I'll try to keep it short: - The staff at the desk was friendly - and so helpful. Their dinner recommendations were right on when we asked for an affordable dinner - The rooms are decorated nicely and I felt like I was staying in luxury - The shower - wow. I almost fell over the first morning when I came - An absolutely great hotel. All of their recommendations for restaurants were excellent. I research all my hotels before a stay and this was right on target. I would highly recommend it to anybody. The tram was only 3 stops away f - Large room (a double) with modern Scandinavian furniture. New and stylish bath room. Great view at the food market across the street (note that you might end up looking at the apartment block on the opposite side of the building). Nice breakfast buffet in the restaurant downstairs (included in room price) where I also had a very favorably priced (for Oslo standards) meal at night. Probably the best place I've stayed in Oslo. Price-quality ratio is excellent!

  The hotel was in a very good location in a very good area very nea the center only 6 minutes with the buss. If one likes to wald to the center is also very convenient and very easy to reach the shops, restaurants and caffe's of the town.
