Staff were friendly and helpful. They helped us tips to get around and
recommended a food festival exhibition to visit just nearby which was
great, since the time we checked in it was late and most of the places
were about to close. The rooms were tastefully done. The restaurant was

Large room (a double) with modern Scandinavian furniture. New and stylish bath room. Great view at the food market across the street (note that you might end up looking at the apartment block on the opposite side of the building). Nice breakfast buffet in the restaurant downstairs (included in room price) where I also had a very favorably priced (for Oslo standards) meal at night. Probably the best place I've stayed in Oslo. Price-quality ratio is excellent!

Overall we had a good 5-night stay at Gruner. Better than expected.
The girl who received us was really nice, and aswered well to all my questions. We had no problems with CHECK IN, I enable my mobile for international calls so after three times dialing the wrong numbers I finally reached them. Easy. Good LOCATION, not in city center but central.

Not very big bedrooms, but really big beds! Great temperature inside, hot water always running.
1st night we stayed, our credit card crushed and had no money to pay the hotel. She accepted a little upfront from one of our other cards, and was patient enough to wait till next day that we received money from Greece and paid... We loved the area around Frogner House Apt. Classic historical low buildings, lots of small shops and the tram to downtown. Our corner room was lovely, with space for four: mom and three 15-year old girls. Big TV and Kitchen.

I like the concept: a luxury hotel room with a kitchenette. Good bed, with enough cushons to get cozy. Right around the corner there is a shop open 7-23 and 10 meters further a shop open all night. on 2 min walking distance to the busstop to the center. Nice and safe neighboorhood. Pharmacy around the corner. Some shops in the neighbouring streets.
307 is a large studio in olive and purple with unique old stove. 412 is "large hotelroom size" with green/ brown colors, and a balcony.

I have trouble getting around and the Oslo Apartments were very central.
Every single t Bane line stops at Toyen, and the T-bane station was a
very short walk away. Also, very good market at Toyen, and the hotel
room offered kitchen facilities. Finally the price was affordable and
allowed me to make this trip. We had a problem with the first room

cost makes this a hotel I already plan to return to. -
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very good size and the kitchenette was well stocked. The beds were like clouds! It was also very nice to have heated floors in the bathroom. The parking garage was nice because they closed the garage door nightly and you had to go through the lobby to access the garage. I felt safe leaving the rental car in there. I highly recommend this hotel!

This is probably my new favorite hotel in the world. So many good things
to say, I'll try to keep it short:
- The staff at the desk was friendly - and so helpful. Their dinner recommendations were right on when we asked for an affordable dinner
- The rooms are decorated nicely and I felt like I was staying in luxury

An absolutely great hotel. A very good value-clean, spacious rooms, great breakfast, located about 1 mile from the city sightseeing center, free coffee and outstanding, friendly and knowledgeable staff. All of their recommendations for restaurants were excellent. I research all my hotels before a stay and this was right on target. I would highly recommend it to anybody. My wife says it made the trip. I agree!
