Lovely apartment situated in a lovely part of Tromso. The owner was so welcoming and even gave us dinner one evening. Thanks to him we also saw the Northern Lights for three hours on our final night from a lake which is a short walk from the apartment. We will definitely return and stay there again and would recommend it to friends. -

For a basic hotel this place is really rather good; the breakfast room was spotless with quite a selection of cold food (but no fruit).

It is close to the town centre and about 50 metres from a bus stop from which a no 42 bus -
First of all: this is Norway, which means higher standards and the need
for (much) deeper pockets. Having this is mind, the hotel was just fine;
you get what you pay for. The breakfast is included in the price, which
is something really valuable in this part of the world; the food was ok.
The staff was excellent. I asked for a room with a view, I got it. Asked
for a taxi, they made the reservation for the morning. Everything was
just in place, without great fuss. To conclude: the place is simpl

within walking distance to "everything". Reasonable price.
Comfortable bed exept for the size of it. Due to heavy partying in
neighbouring rooms during our stay we reccomended change of room. This

Clean, comfortable and friendly. As a nice touch, we arrived way before even standard check out time (let alone check in). However, we were told immediately that the previous people had already left and that reception would do what they could to make the room available asap. We were directed to the lounge and told where we could make a cup of t

Comparatively, ABC Nord hotell is one of the lower priced hotels but the rooms were still comfortable and the large communal Kitchen is a lifesaver for those on a budget - You could easily save a lot by buying fresh fish and salad/vegetables at the grocery store and cooking it yourself, or go all out by cooking a gourmet meal (which I did some people do), or, if you're less ambitious, heat up a frozen pizza or tv dinners in one of their ovens.

Everybody @ the front-desk was very helpful with suggestions, ideas
and advises. In the heart of Tromso and very close to restaurants and
shopping. In walking distance to main attractions and museum. Very
helpful was the kitchenette where I could prepare meals, since
everything is pretty expensive for continental European standards.
Safe place to stay, as the whole city. In the future I'll stay
there again!

Everything! The lady who checked us in after being in transit for 38 hours was nothing but helpful and greeted us warmly. We were even informed that we were upgraded to a business class room which was greatly appreciated. I liked the location which was very convenient and the rooms were quite comfortable. The breakfasts were quite substantial to set you up for the day. The small downside for me was the late night bar which i passed by the previous year has now shut down. There were no explanations why but I remember getting a very nice night cap in there once. -

At first we were allocated an unrenovated room but after a quick conversation at the hotel reception we were given a fully renovated suite. This made our stay very comfortable. The staff were very helpful, the breakfasts great and the bed very comfortable.
