  Very welcoming atmosphere. Being able to chat around the breakfast table with the manager and other guests while getting served up made to order breakfast (including eggs!) and espresso and feeling very much "at home", including use of kitchen (microwave, free espresso/long coffee, frig, kitchenware, and nice comfortable bed with warm comforter (a... vad folk säger » nd good radiator heat when needed). The very steep stairs and somewhat uniquely noisy bath fan were a fun part of the character. The canal view from t - Staff were lovely, helpful and polite. The breakfast was yummy just what you need before setting out and about. It was a relaxed environment good for chilling out and looking out to the Singel canal, location is very good albert heijn supermarket not even 5 minutes away, lovely cafes and coffee shops nearby.   I was part of a group of 8 who stayed for New Year. From the firstminute we walked in to the minute we left we received nothing but firstclass service all round. Literally 5 minutes walk from Centraal Station,this recently renovated hotel is very impressive, from the lobby to therooms to the bar area.   Beautiful apartment in one of the best areas in Amsterdam. Jordan is just around the corner with amazing shops. If you want the tourist area around Dam Square, we didn't, it is just a short walk, as is the Centraal station.   The room and the living room were large enough for our family and very comfortable. The bed mattress was very comfortable to sleep and it was very quiet. The wifi connection was very good. The shower was very powerful and warm enough. The breakfast was very good with freshly squeezed orange juice, milk, yogurt, eggs, fresh breads, hams, cheese an... vad folk säger » d more. The lady who cooked for us makes eggs by your request. The kitchen is available for us to cook at night so we cooked one night. Nice restauran - The Old Lady is a restored terrace on the canal in Amsterdam. We rented the apartment which is spacious, comfortable and clean. The building is very well located only minutes from the railway station and right on one of the canals. Most of the city's attractions, shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. The hosts are very cooperative and an excellent breakfast was provided.

  Fantastic location just round the corner from Centraal Station, was easy to find - its basically above the Resin coffeeshop. Beds were alright for a short stay, good enough kitchen facilities for us to cook up a couple of very tasty meals. Decent size bathroom with a good shower. Smoking was permitted which was great for us - you can request non smoking if required though. - The owner of the apartment was great! He was very helpful. The apartment was value for money. All the facilities were excellent and the location is perfect with a multitude of shops, restaurants and bars close by! I would recommend and definitely will be booking to stay again!
