  I arrived in Marrakech from Belgium suffering the affects of food poisoning and was immediately attended to by Jacques who made me as comfortable as possible. He arranged for me to visit a nearby pharmacy to help me get over my problem for which I was very grateful. My room was like an oasis after a full day exploring in the medina. The roof top area was appreci - We stayed for 4 nights at this lovely traditional looking Riad, walking distance to the new town (about 15-20 mins), the main square and mosque (15 mins). The staff are personable, not all speak English but you can get by. The own sat down with us talking us through the Riad and the local area. The cooks are great and you can choose where I.E. the terrace, your room, the courtyard and what time you have breakfast and pop down to the kitchen to let them know.   This is a beautiful and tranquil oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the Medina. The French owners, Armelle and Serge, have done an amazing job decorating the Riad making each room unique. All the staff were very friendly and provided great service. Our stay at Riad Armelle was exceptionally enjoyable.

  The Riad is excellent, very clean and comfortable, and the staff very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed breakfast on the terrace each morning. Riad Farniente is right in the heart of the Medina, so you get to see life there as it really is. That might not appeal to all visitors as Europeans really stand out from the crowd. Approx 15 minute walk through the - This riad was very nice. Mohammed, the guy who stays there was very friendly welcoming us. He also serves the best breakfast (incl best coffee, tea, and orange juice!) during my 1-week Morocco trip! The room was spacious enough for 2 people. Very beautiful Moroccon design in all over the riad.
