  99% of the staff spoke English and put up with our bad Spanish. The breakfasts were included and we had a lot of choices and they were all great. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was a junior suite and it was very large. The canopy bed was very comfortable. The tv had many English speaking channels. I saved the best for last and that w... vad folk säger » as the lobby. People walking by, would walk up the stairs to take pictures of the lobby and the fully stained glass ceiling. The location was perfect. - The Hotel itself is great, both rooms and public places, everyone already wrote about the mosaic glass roof above lobby area. And of course the old lift which unfortunately you can use only once you arrive to hotel. Guest relations service is good - I contacted them before my arrival to book some extra services and they really did their best to help me.

  Beautiful and stylish hotel, with historic patio and well-equipped, spotless and elegantly furnished rooms. Excellent service, friendly and helpful staff. Very good WiFI connection when I was there. Restaurant 1620 with Mexican cuisine with a modern touch highly recommended (service can be a bit slow, though). Convenient central location (Zocalo and Zona Rosa in walking distance, Hidalgo metro s - The hotel was clean and comfortable, well located. The restaurant is good, with a diverse menu. The design is fantastic, and shows what you can do with a very old building. Good appointments in the rooms.
