Vad folk säger
Location:-
(1) within 5 mins walking distance to the JR station.
(2) within 15 mins or not more than 30 mins ride time to all the major JR station. (i.e. only 2 JR stops or 3 mins ride time take you to the cheapest but best looking Japanese snack gift set market)
(3) only 1 interchange point within the JR line to and from airport (via monorail) which is very fast, money save, and few walking distance compared with other line.

My mother and I traveled to Japan for leisure, and Hotel Lungwood was
the first hotel we stayed at. We booked a semi-double. The room was
small, but it had everything you could possibly need: table, lounge
chair, mini fridge, coffee/tea maker, flat-screen tv, hairdryer, a
nightstand with an attached lamp that had various settings, ac that you
can monitor, a closet with hangers, plenty of storage, and a private
bathroom, which was also small, but clean & efficient. Remember,
this is Japan. R.
I just cant say enough about the friendly, helpful accomodating nature of the staff. They are a credit to the hotel and the Japanese people as a whole. The hotel is very lucky,in my opinion to have people of such quality.
As for the hotel, its great, excellent food and in a great wee neighbourhood only 10 minutes from Tokyo central on the J.R. line.
Also Hotel Lungwood is only 150m from the Keseil Train from Narita on the skyliner or Limited express as a cheaper option.
Stay at this hotel-you wont b.
Have stayed in this hotel numerous times. Excellent location: Yanaka, the only part of Tokyo to survive both the 23' earthuake and 45' bombings is just on the other side of the Yamanote line. Also, access from Narita is extremenly convenient, just 36 min with Skyliner. Small rooms but enough space for two (economy double). Great value, would (will) stay here again!.
I love everything about this hotel. The staffs are very helpful & professional. The triple room is big & comfortable. My teenager children are really happy about it. The hotel is right in the middle of everything include the station. A couple minutes walk from the train station. Very convenience to get to anywhere including both airport.
I like Lungwood hotel because it's really near to JR station, so it make us really easy to travel. and Surrounding area are filled with restaurant and 7 eleven or fresh mart, it makes us easy to buy food. The room i got it's quite big because I travel with my husband and my two child where as the are already big enough.
Large rooms, the hotel is near Nippori station so it is comfortable to travel around the city. People on the reception know some English, not very well but we could understand each other. Room has wardrobe for clothes and other extra furniture and convinience. The food in chinese restaurant on the base floor is tasty.
The biggest room I have lived in Japan so far. With my two big luggages open-wided in the middle of the room, we still have plenty of space to walk through. Few minutes walk to the JR Station and definitely a good choice if Tokyo is the last place to stay because the Skyliner station is just next to the JR.
wonderful clean well organised and well kept hotel . comfortable beds and nice showers and bathtub. Staff speak english well. Location ideal as it is near keisei line for airport and yamanote line for city travel. the location is not crowded so there is more privacy and space. the location is safe at night.
It's very easy access to Nippori station (south exit) especially just 2 minutes walk to Keisei Skyliner for Narita airport while you have a lot of things to hand carried.
Very strong wifi available at all area.
Just a few step walk to Family mart and not too far to minimart 7-11.
The room was comfortable and well equipped with awesome bathroom . It
also came with free Internet and tea coffee. We asked for extra pillows
and they promptly sent them up. Location was excellent - there was a
McDonalds very bear and close to subway station : Nippori.
Japanese people are one of the best people I've ever mate. People are so helpful, being Indian and have little idea about Japanese food, places and language, if we haven't mate so many people who helped us everywhere, we'd have been lost in Tokyo.
Great experience.
The staff were really friendly and the interpreter on demand was handy. The room air con was excellent, great for hot spring afternoons! Excellent value for money and located near the airport express and JR Yamanote line made access incredible easy.
This hotel located in the very great location .Easily accessible from Narita Airport by Keisei Main Line. Just 3-5 minutes to Nippori train station easy to go everywhere by JR Line. I think semi-double room is a little larger than the other Hotel.
Excellent location; close to all that you want to do in Tokyo through the Yamanote line but in a calm, nice residential neighbourhood. Plenty of small restaurants and conveniance stores. Bed in small double room fit two (slender) adults.
Use South Gate from Nippori Station, across the road, turn to the left corner, bypass MOS restaurant and hotel is on the right. (hotel signboard is not visible). Very fast & convenient to transfer from/to Narita Airport via Skyliner.
The staff were great. My parents' luggage was delayed for 24 hours on an Air France flight, but the staff were great at keeping us informed, and tried their best to use English. Excellent customer service.
Good location close to Narita Station and Skytrain direct from Narita. You can take JR Yamnote line to main attractions in tokyo. There are restaurants and supermarket close the hotel. Hotel has free wifi.
Perfect hotel for a budget trip to Tokyo. Not fancy in any way but clean, small but still large enough rooms for two (small double room) and, if you get the smart deal, unbeatable in terms of price.
Room not so big but convenient, ammenities good, very clean, and really near to go anywhere in Tokyo area and surrounding.
Anyway, our words might be not enough to decribe this hotel convenience.
Huge room and huge twin beds, really confortable. Nice views from the 12th floor and silence. Staff was very nice and helpful too! Excellent location to go to Narita airport directly.
- The room is relatively big comparing to the others in Tokyo.
- Location is okay though not locating in famous area but it's near the Nippori Station.
- Cleanness of accommodation.
Good price, nice staff, quick check in and check out, nice views from top floors, clean, close to Nippori Station (Yamanote line and service to the airport).
- Location - close to train station
- Triple bed room is very comfy and big.
- Price is appropriate
- Clean
- Quiet neighborhood and lovely area nearby.
Breakfast is awesome. I ordered breakfast inside the hotel fee, and my friend got a 20% discount because of me and he bought the ticket on the spot.
Room was comfortable and clean.
Close to the Skyliner train (direct to the airport)
Close to the Yamanote line (easy to travel around the city).
The staff were very friendly and happy to accommodate us. The room was fairly large for Japan and was clean. The breakfast was also very nice.
Spacious Room, Good Location and many restaurants & convenient stores nearly by. Will book this hotel again if I travel to Tokyo again.
The location is good, not far from Nippori station, taking only 5 mins to reach the hotel. Besides, the room size is big enough.
Larger rooms compare to other city base hotels. A few steps from JR station.
Restaurants around. Clean. No frills.
Good value.
A very good option for Tokyo, excellent location 1 block of Nippori station. Clean, affordable and very friendly staff.
Excellent location. A very short walk from Nippori Station. A convenience store was around the corner. Great Breakfast.
Clean,big and comfortable room.
Easy access to train line.
Many restaurant nearby hotel provide reasonable price food.
Clean facilities in renovated building. Forthcoming staff. Great location from Nippori Station. Highly cost-effective.
big room, normal size bathroom, location near the Nippori station which is great when you travel to Narita airport.
Location is good, near station
Clean but due to short stay, regretted that I didn't explore into your resturant.
Excellent room equipment, very helpful hotel staff, more than usual (as for Japan) room space in economy room.
The area is underestimated, so Nippori is a great place to discover. The hotel is very close to the station.
Proximity to the Yamanote Line, quiet neighbourhood, big and comfortable room, enough for me and my 5 kids.
Customer Service. I was treated excellent every single time. I feel safe and well attended always.
The room was huge. The position on the Yamanote line. Breakfast
veryvrich. Clean and comfortable.
location - easy walking distance to the station, close to shops and restaurants. Very clean.
staff were very friendly and there is an international ATM in the hotel lobby.
Very near subway, excellent breakfast selection. and staff were friendly.
Location near JR Station, restaurant, mini market
Clean, spacious room.
Good standard for reasonable price, size of the room more than enough.
the staff gave us an experience that we only have had in 6 star hotels.
Excelent position... right near Nippor station, easy to find.
Near nippori station & easy to return to narita airport.
alot of shops and fast food you can find around the area.
It is a residential location, mostly, therefore, safe but nothing to do or see nearby.
anyway, this is not a cons ... just dont want it blank .
Our shower pressure (Room 1213) was a bit soft, but otherwise, we loved
everything about the hotel!.
Poor sound-proofing, especially to the hallway. Therefore avoid rooms XX01 through XX03 as they are located close to a janitor's closet where work is done at all hours. Also ventilation in the rooms is not great, it's either cool (summer) or warm (winter).
The small double room is really small. That's all.
the breakfast which is not worth to buy because it's no good and quite expensive.
The restauraunt on the 1st floor SERIO is expensive and food has low quality. But there is a good chinese restaurant on the base floor.
nil.
No resting area at lobby only need to directly go to your room.
The bed was small . But per Tokyo standards it was okay . I read that
this I'd the case everywhere in Tokyo . The room was Aldo small -
but according to another guest this wax a big room since they
transferred from another hotel which was even smaller !.
Rooms are too small.
Probably the only thing was the fact that you can hear people to either side of you but I'm a light sleeper so this is usually a problem for me anyway!.
Poor sound proofing of rooms.
no air ventilation in my room, centralised controlled air-cond. The staff was helpful to bring a standing fan.
Rooms are small but enough, although the room size is the typical in Japan.
Poor sound-proofing but that is normal i Japan. Try to avoid the rooms xx01 and xx02 as thay are just opposite of the janitors room and they tend to muck about late at night.
a bit uncovenient tobacco smell in the corridor.
Location is a bit far from the main touristic places of Tokyo.
- Staffs can't speak English very well. We asked one of them to help us to activate our Japanese internet sim card and she just pointed us a public telephone.
Small rooms were small indeed, but still bigger than "deluxe rooms" at other hotel that we stayed at ;-).
- Staff cannot speak English well but try to help
- Wall is so thin in some floors. Can hear next room chatting.
They don't speak English well. The hotel has a really local Japanese atmosphere.
Whereabouts are not very lively.
Nothing bad to say.
Nothing.
Very small rooms.
The way the third bed was placed was at the opposite of two other beds. Also right behind it was a closet. It was a little awkward.
nothing.
Nothing to enjoy in the neighbourhood (but of course it is not the hotel's fault!).
thin walls.
Nothing.
Price per night could be better.
Smell of cigarette in the corridors. No decent illumination in the room.
Not very comfortable for Narita Express as advertised.
room size is small ( we expected that anyway).
rooms were very small, but this is normal in Japan.
Weak showers.
The refrigerator is really small and didn't cool at all. Location is a little bit far from big mall by walking, but can be reach by JR train or subway.
Most of Hotel officers can't speak english . But we can still communicate.
