  Nice hotel close to shin-osaka station (shinkansen trains). Great location to visit Kyoto (14' minutes away) owning a JR pass when hotels are full or not cheap. To reach the hotel exit the shinkansen checks and follow directions to Midosuji subway line, then look for exit 6. The facilities were good and clean enough. I enjoyed staying there. But it takes time to find hotel at first I dont know what route to take to hotel. Staff cant speak English much but they are willing to help at anything.

  Location:- About 500m from Shin-Osaka Railway Station East Gate. Quite convenient especially if you plan to make Osaka your base and make day trips on the train. It is a little difficult to find on the first go.Get out of the East exit of the station and follow the tracks towards your right. You will see 'Pariwar' Indian restaurant. Good clean rooms with a lot of toile - The room was great, just right for a solo traveller. There was a nice big bed, a tv just the right size and a little pot for boiling water and making a nice cup of green tea. The location is good as well, even though it isn't in Osaka city itself. But it is right across the road from Shin-Osaka station which is a big interchange with the subway and Shinkansen. Breakfast was included in my room rate which was great, it meant I started each day on a full tummy!

  Hotel Consort located near to Noshikajima-minamigate subway station(M14). It is just located opposite the 'exit 2' of this subway station (less than 2 minutes walk). We purchased 'Haruka(return) + Icoca' package and took Haruku raiway from Kansai Airport and stop at Shin-Osaka Station. If you are carrying luggage, i suggested not - The location of the hotel is great - only one stop away from Shin-Osaka station. There's great little restaurants just outside the hotel if you're keen for a cheap and tasty meal. The room is very budget- friendly. It has everything you need and is very clean. I felt safe here. I would recommend anyone on a budget or anyone needing last minute accommodation to stay here.

  Nice staff, good location just 50meter walk from metro station. Lucky, we see the earthquake at first night. But hotel and the room still fine. :) - Reasonable hotel right near the station, great staff, perfect if you need to spend a night before catching a shinkansen in the morning.

  The shuttle is really appreciable (just ask at the information booth or follow Exit 2), just at the exit of the station Shin-Osaka.   We stayed here because reasonably priced accommodation in Kyoto was booked out. The location is perfect if you want to be near Shin Osaka station and take the 15 minute train ride to Kyoto (using Japan Rail Pass) every day.   We booked the king size bedroom after spending 6 previous nights in a smaller economy double bedroom. The extra space in the room was very nice. - The free breakky provided at the lobby was simple yet good; traditional Japanese style. Love it!
