  Location. Just beside the fish market n station. The room comes w kitchenette living room. Very spacious unlike most japan hotel room its come with a jacuzi which auto refill water at 42 degree like onsen. Superbe!! Ample of parking spaces at only 500 yen per day free wifi overall one the best hotels I stayed in Japan so far - After a minor problem we where conducted to a suberb room, extremely well conceived, a room not only big, but with a wonderful view from the living room and the bathroom. The kitchen is fully furnished, we had breakfast in the morning sitting in a very nice veranda. An Hakodate is a place to visit. Finally, the hotel is extremely well located, in between the station and the historical district.

  The hotel couldn't be better situated (or better value) as it is just 5 minutes walk from the combined station and bus terminal which has a tourist office with plenty of maps and timetables for the public transport. NB: If you are flying to or from Wakkanai airport buses connect with ALL flights in and out with a one-way fare to downtown of 590... vad folk säger » yen (as at July 2013). The hotel manager and staff made me very welcome and the hotel was excellent value for money. It's a "ryokan" type hotel whic - I arrived late at night, when I arrived the owner (?) of this place was incredibly friendly and even went so far as to carry my extremely heavy luggage up to my room. The room was unusually spacious for Japanese standards, even larger than in most more expensive accomodations I have used in Japan so far, it had everything you need and (important in Japan) a very cozy and soft futon. I have slept in many places in Japan, and especially the cheap places often have incredibly uncomfortable futons,

  Amazing place! Excellent closeup view of the lake at an affordable price with reasonablr comfort. Rooms spacious and extremely clean. Excellent staff (i think its family owned and we had asked about good hiking routes. the lady owner speaks excellent english and offered to show us the way by car to our endpoint gor us to park our car, and then dro... vad folk säger » pped us off at the starting point! Excellent onsen! With both open air and indoors. Free parking. Free and strong wifi - It is a japanese ryokan, guest were mostly japanese. The facilty is a bit old but they have free onsen pools indoor and out door 24 hours! It was very near to attractions and they have a well stock pub with sake and whiskies...friendly staff but few spoke english...but it was not a problem as they were so friendly and helpful.

  The man I met (probably the owner) was very courteous and helpful and was able to attend to all of my questions. Everything seemed clean and in working order. - Nice little Guesthouse very close to the railstation. Big japanese room for a fair price!
