It's located next to Kyoto station (a perfect location!) and the rooms are not as small as other hotels in Japan. The stall doesn't speak English but They are very nice and funny (They use the translator in the laptop!). The tatami is more confortable than expected.

Very well located, near to kyoto train station. I arrived early and was able to leave my bag which was very useful.

i like the location!.
The staff was very friendly the location was excellent just close the train station. Although the room was very simple (Japanese style) it had all the basic things you will need (a small private bathroom, an efficient air conditioned).
The receptionist, Yoko was very friendly, helpful and a very nice person.

Room extremely small, just a Tatami mat and the two Futon beds..no place to move around for two people.
1) Direction to hotel is vague & the Hotel's sign board is written in Japan (from the main street) hence we could't understand / unsure - have to ask a passerby who can understand english.
2) staff in-charge in the evening & at night couldn't speak/understand english well - confusion.
Good hotel if you are looking for a cheap and convenient place to stay near the JR station.
