  Great hotel. The breakfasts were fantastic with wide variety of food, staff behind the desk friendly and helpful, cleaning staff friendly, rooms spotlessly cleaned and made everyday, close to train. Trieste is quite small so nothing really too far. I paid the same per night in Rome, Hotel Altavilla, and comparing Hotel Milano to there is like a 5 ... vad folk säger » to a 1 star. If i ever return to trieste, without any doubt i will book in at Hotel Milano. - Surprisingly very Comfortable rooms, although lobby and buulding itself seemed to be rather old and little untidy. Not luxury but very good hotel with helpful staff.

  The location was superb, the staff were very helpful. The room was very comfortable albeit I would have preferred a external view. Would book again, for weekend or short city break. What you see is what you get. No complaints at all. Just a short advisory could be added to the listing to help travellers arriving by bus or train. Both stations a... vad folk säger » re within 5 mins walk but unless you have a city map or speak a little Italian could be awkward to find. - Apartment located close to train station, easy to walk and also close to the centre by foot. The apartment was huge and very clean. Reception staff were friendly and polite and should you wish to leave luggage of your check out day that's no problem. Would stay here again if we were in Trieste. There is a bar/cafe just next door but we didn't use it so cannot comment. There is also a supermaket very close by on the next block.

  We got in very late due to airline delay..and they were wonderful in holding our room and getting us into the hotel room. The breakfasts were fantastic. The room price was worth every dollar. They even helped us avoid an 18 Euro parking fee every day by telling us about the very reasonable metered parking lot right across the street. The views wer... vad folk säger » e great. The location was perfect. You can walk everywhere from the Savoia. A perfect jumping off place to go to Croatia and Slovenia. We have been to - The location of the hotel on the waterfront and in the center of historical amenities are two reasons to stay here. The city bus services are conveniently located just outside the hotel's doors. The hotel is located in an historical building (we had a balcony facing the water) with rooms that were immaculate and whose staff were very helpful. An added bonus was that our car rental office was only a few minutes' walk from the hotel.

  Perfect location, near sea and in the very center of old part of the town. Very helpful staff, they let us enter the room before 9:00 am on the first day and kept our luggage until 8:00 pm on the last day.   The hotel was very nice inside and the rooms were very clean. It is only a 10 minute bus ride from the city center--the bus station and train station--with the bus stop being 100 yards away from the hotel. The hotel staff was very willing to help us with any questions we had about getting around the city.   The apartments are very centrally located (though suggest you did what we did and have a google map printed in advance with precise location). Alesandra could not have been more welcoming. She was waiting for us on arrival. She helped us with a place to park nearby and also with suggested a nearby restaurant which was great. This is her own business; the pride she takes in running it and her personal touch makes it a lovely pla - Manager Aessandra was warm, friendly and so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Willingly assisted us when we needed a doctor and hospital, she volunteered to act as interpreter, we couldn't have worked the Italian medical system without her. Thank you so much Aessandra. Unit was clean, comfortable and well stocked with extras. Close to everything Trieste has to offer.

For a trip to Triest there is a bus stop in front of the house, there is a direct bus connection to Triest central station. The owners were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with variations each day. The rooms are cosy, very clean and lovely decorated.

  very friendly staff; very modern and comfortable; clean; the entering into the hotel without reception by using mail or message instructions was a bit curious at the beginning but turned out very easy and useful afterwards - that just should be pointed out at the hotel description to be prepaired... - Alles!!! A bit tricky to find as it is on the 1st floor, but it was so special and nice, absolutely our favourit place!!!
