  My husband and I stayed at the B&B Serpotta when we first arrived in Sicily and liked it so much that we extended our stay by one night. We also rebooked at the B&B for our last night before heading home. The rooms/suites are beyond what you would expect from a B&B. During both of our stays we were put in one bedroom suites with fully ... vad folk säger » kitted kitchens, king sized beds and the most amazing shower/sauna. The B&B also has a hot tub and workout area which again is beyond most B&B - I (67 yrs) was travelling with my God daughter (29) who has cerebral palsy. All the staff treated her with respect and good humour and indulged her attempts to speak Italian, she has difficulty speaking English! Nothing was too much trouble and when an incident occurred that necessitated a change of bedding, I was assure it was "no problem". The apartment was more than I expected, beautifully appointed and scrupulously clean. A truly wonderful stay.

  Very nice stay. Great breakfast, most of it home made and fresh. Owner is very friendly, caring, educated and hospitable. No problem getting there. Ispica is interesting for the cava d'Isp - Very eclectic and modern design, the room was very comfortable with lots of storage space and high end shower and bath soaps. The location is rural and very peaceful, the grounds are beautiful, the breakfast was a delicious mix of local dishes and fresh fruit. The lady in charge was very graceful and helpful. I would describe the Balarte as the Gugenheim in the middle on the Scicilian countryside !

  A wonderful place to stay Great location, right on the water. A modern hotel built into an historic building. The room was adequate in size and amenities. Parking is close, but it is in the blue spaces so you need to be collecting coins to feed the meter. You don’t pay from midnight to 8:00 and for a few hours mid-day, so it is not expensive or a ... vad folk säger » problem. It is only a few meters from Via Liberta, Via Garibaldi, Via Torrearsa which are the main shopping and dining streets. It is away from the cr - My family and I loved every minute of our stay at the beautifully renovated La Gancia! We stayed with a 4 month old baby and the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and happy! Personal attention and courtesy was given by all the staff: at reception, breakfast bar and evening drinks. Thank you Residence La Gancia, we will recommend you to all our friends.

  The location, up a private road, was superb giving wonderful views of the surrounding countryside and even a glimpse of the sea. The restaurant was excellent as was the service. Tomasso, one of the waiters, was excellent and also very funny!
