Owners are fantastic, we chatted pleasantly with them every day. B&B is decorated with great affection by owners. Dog friendly place. Good value for money. Free WiFi. -

Everything in this B&B was fantastic. We enjoyed staying in La Casa del Poeta dell'Etna very much. Maria, the owner is very kind and helpful. She gave us great ideas and tips on what to see. Breakfast is also very good.
The room is nice and clean. Actually it was two connecting small rooms, with a double bed in each, so staying with children was quite confortable.
The location is great. 30 minutes drive to Etna and to Catania.

What we read in other comments was definitely true. The appartement was excellent and very clean and the hosts Maurizio and Cettina very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really great, 5 jellies, fresh bread and Mortadella/prosciutto juices and Sicilian icecream (Granita)! Nicolosi is a cosy village to stay. Close to Etna and Catania. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. We loved the room though a little small--the bathroom was elegant and very comfortable. Breakfast was great with many tasty selections. Overall we had a nice 5 day's stay at the hotel. The Island is still pretty and unspoilt and there are some small rocky beaches. Positive is the friendly staff and serving a good breakfast. Also positive is the location with sea view and a large swimming pool area. -

2013. The hotel is located in the very city center in the beginning of a
pedestrian area. It is nice looking, new and super clean. Besides all
the neccessary stuff like a bed you can also find in the room a big
sofa, new tv, Nespresso coffee machine, minibar, wardrobe, etc. The

We were the only quests in this 200 years old villa from lava stones (being partly reconstructed at the time). Only Italian speaking staff Rosetta was so kind and natural taking care of us "like a mother". She even called her friend speaking English to ease our communication.
