  Trully friendly manager and receptionists. Courtesy van brough us from the port to the hotel and back. Luggage brought to the room and all facilities pointed out to us. Superb room and services.   The location was perfect - metres from the main street. Really good breakfast - just ask for eggs, bacon, cheese etc. Roof terrace was great, lots of sun loungers and not too crowded. Pool is not huge but fine to cool off in.and has lovely views. They can organise a cheap trip to a nearby private beach which was definitely worth doing. We got the ... vad folk säger » bus from the airport which solved the parking problem, and was easy to use. Bus station is about 15 mins downhill on the way home though we did get a - The staff where very friendly and always happy to help. We had a very pleasant week. Rooms are small but big enough not to be too cramped if staying longer the a few days. Was excepting a little noise from other reviews but did not experience any inconvenience late at night.

  Good help from manager and staff, even helping one of our number with his broken phone! Breakfast was excellent overlooking the harbour from the rooftop restaurant. Small balconies overlooking same harbour.   All staff in the hotel were amazingly helpful. Their knowledge of the local area was really useful. The hotel is in a great location for historical sites. Easy to find and with it's own parking, it is an ideal location to explore the city of Siracusa. The Rooftop pool is a great way to relax. Our Double room had striking modern furnishings, a harbour view & wasn’t too noisy – a higher floor would have somewhat reduced the noise but - Great location for Eolian islands cruises. Stayed in triple room (suite) and it was very spacious. Bathroom very nice. We didn't had breakfast included, but we had dinner one evening. The service was very good and the food delicious.

When you eat in the fourth-floor hotel dining room, the windows on three sides look largely over the Mediterranean, but also over old rooftops. It's easy to walk to anywhere in Ortigia from there. Or just to swim in the sea and sunbathe on the rocks. - We really loved the Hotel Livingston's neighborhood. Walking was a delight, there is a terrific gourmet Locanda nearby. Our room was large with two sets of French doors looking onto the street and to the sea and swimming rock! The bathroom was luxurious - loved the towel bathrobe and slippers. Breakfast was good with an extensive buffet.

  Excellent location for sightseeing. Beds and pillow (self selection)excellent as were the bathroom and breakfast. Highly recommended. - Staff were friendly and very helpful and efficient. I drove to the hotel and all I had to do was follow the signs to the Best Western Mediterraneo once I entered the city of Catania.I was able to find it with ease.

  Pools fantastic Rooms large Very helpful staff, in particular Monica. Courtyard with fountain and poolside area very nice with ample seating. Nicely furnished with oceans of space for clothes, even in the smaller of the two rooms. The large room had a sofa and coffee table making it very homely. Location near to Segesta, relatively near to Palermo... vad folk säger » and Monreale and the coast, including the nature reserves made it an excellent choice for culture, nature and sea. - We had a very short one night stay but the location is great with easy access to many interesting archeological sites and local points of interest. We would hapily return in the future.
