  Hotel staff were so very friendly and helpful. Interior of the room was really nice. Equipped with a Safe, Refridgerator which contained free bottles of water, electric kettle a choice of teabags. Night were very quiet and peaceful, we were not disturbed by any noises. Bathroom was very spacious. Water pressure of the shower was strong.   Out of all the different options we had, we (3 friends) chose an apartment managed by Biriola Holiday - mainly because of the huge number of positive reviews. Communication with the manager, Matteo, was excellent and he was very friendly and helpful with everything - not to mention all the great insider tips he had for us! We were glad to be there in the low season, when Cala Gonone is almost empty (i.e. no tourists), - We traveled to Cala Gonone as a young couple and found Residence Biriola very easy to find. Upon arriving we were greeted by Bruno, the elder statesman of the residence, who was quite simply charming. He took us around, showed us the garden at the back and told us we could help ourselves to the fresh herbs and chillis.   The staff were so friendly they couldn't do enough for you. This is a lovely hotel very peaceful and in a perfect location if you are looking to chill out right on the beach front. The town centre of Villasimius is a two minute drive, it's a ten minute walk along a long straight road so you can't go wrong. They kept going the extra mile, always carrying a smile to make us feel welcome. The room was very well appointed, clean and comfortable. However, the highlight of our stay was the superb dining experience combining well presented delicious Sardinian specialties with classy service in a pleasant atmosphere. I almost forgot, the hotel is excellently located, right on the white sand beach.

  I really liked the location even though you need a car to get around. There are very good restaurants nearby, great sandy beaches. I liked privacy in the appartments, they are well equiped (except for missing bed sheets and towels which you have to pay for).   Despite of its location, the hotel is trying hard to be posh and contemporary and somehow creates its ambient separate from the outside world. It was convenient to have a restaurant attached - it could be too posh in a sense though. - The hotel is beautiful and decorated with a lot of taste. The bathroom is superb.

  Everything! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful and the Spa is simply amazing! Breakfast was very rich with many options and individual orders for type of eggs and coffee are taken as part of their regular service. The owner was there all the time to make - The general quality of the accommodation was excellent, the gardens beautifully maintained and the location between town and beach perfect. Breakfast was generally good but even though most of the guests clearly came through a UK tour company, local cheese instead of processed packets would have been appreciated. Most guests seemed to thin it was perfect.

  I liked the service, especially that Mr. Carmello took really good care of us, showing us the area, advising us on where to go. He was so helpful in recommending restaurants and advising us on weather patterns on the Unpredictable Western Coast (Costa Verde), he also advised us on where to Rent a small zodiac boat (Gommone) which is a must-do. Carmelo looked after us and was very helpful and friendly. The room and patio area were very nice with a good view of the coast. The pool was small but very nice.
