  The staff was absolutely wonderful! Our Italian skills are very limited and they bent over backwards to bridge the gap and help us reach our final destination. The hotel is about 6 km to the bus station and rather than having to catch a cab, they generously piled us and our backpacks into a car and drove us there.   Merulana Suite 2 is brand new, nice and clean place to stay in. It is very close to Colosseum and metro station. It is run by Pietro and Leonardo with the help of Simona. Very nice people! Pietro greeted us with bottle of wine and some fruits. We had new portion of tasty jellies chocolates every day. I surely recommend this place to stay in while visiting Rome. - We booked in here on the recommendation of friends we made in Sorento and we were not disappointed at all. Leonardo was so helpful, when we were at the wrong address, he came and "rescued" us. The room was lovely, beautifully renovated space,fabulous bath. A bottle of wine and slippers to greet us, what a great recommendation. Thanks Charlotte and Mark!!!!!!

  Very friendly staff! Everything was accurate clear and hotel absolutely new or it just repear. Walls are white with nice pictures and nice vew from dinning room. The breakfast was super tasty! Coffee perfect! for this price more then good!!! - I love the location since it is just walking distance from the Metro (Cipro station).   Valter was very helpful in trying to give us directions to various areas of interest in Rome. The location was perfect for walking to all the historic sites. The Colosseum was so close we walked by it many times and got to see it lit up at night . Gorgeous! There are many restaurants and coffee shops near by. The area felt very safe. We had ... vad folk säger » a wonderful trip! - Position was great -close to attractions, all food from supermarket to restaurants, as well as public transport. Very accommodating and friendly owners - nothing too much trouble. Good value for money and the kitchen facility was great and the personal touch was appreciated after a month of travelling and staying in impersonal hotels.Would definitely recommend.
