  We traveled along the amalfi coast all the way to Sorrento on a 7 day trip. Throughout our trip we were disappointed by the lack of cleanliness and comfort the hotels provided on the coast... until we came across Magi House Relais. We wanted to stay forever! It was better than any 5 star hotel or any other hotels we came acr - Great location in the old quarter in the center of Sorrento. Everything was perfect. The apartment was bi-level, bedroom and bathroom downstairs and a small kitchen upstairs, which allowed us to cook a few nights and then dine out a few nights. It is also an easy 30 minute train ride from Sorrrento to Pompei and 15 more minutes to Herculanaem. Staff at Magi House were wonderful. The owner Mariano wants to make sure that you have a great stay.

  Ivan and Fabbiana are exceptional hosts - we were grateful to have such wonderful people welcome us to Sorrento. The staff is a reflection of the owners - Giovanni went out of his way to assist us with parking, traffic control while we parked, and carrying our bags to the hotel. Last but not least, Serafina and her home baked - I loved the warm, welcoming staff and Giovanni's delicious cappuccinos. If you're looking for a formal environment where staff doesn't speak unless spoken to, this isn't the place for you. Palazzo Montefusco feels like you're staying with old friends.
