  A rare gem in the sicilian country side, situated in a valley on the north side of mount Etna with spectacular 360 degrees view. Very interesting to visit and stay in an immaculately restaured 19th century villa with a museum -like winery, among vinyards and olive trees.Very polite and helpful staff, excellent and very reasonably priced restaurant... vad folk säger » and varied wine list, which includes the etiquettes produced on the premises. If you are looking for a place which combines the sicilian cultural he - This is a unique property - an old manor house, fully restored, a producing vineyard and an excellent estate wine that is well worth the modest price. The property is nothing less than dramatic - indeed it looks like a movie set, and could have been, for that matter since, as one of the owners told me, during WWII it was commandeered as a German military hospital, and subsequently taken over by the Allies for the same purpose.   Very good and frendly service from the owner of the BandB. We stayed in an apartment, with views of Mount Edna. The owner recommended a very good restaurant to eat nearby and brought up breakfast to us in the morning

  Great place. A bit off the beaten track, but fantastic location with view to Mt Etna. Food was great value for money. Wine was made on the property. Breakfast was the best we had in all of Sicily. Two just as great first courses followed and we had to interrupt the dinner and take a walk to be able to eat the main course! Fantastic service and staff!
