  Very pleasant and helpful staff in this very modern hotel. Rooms are well appointed if a little starkly white and black in decor. Lovely breakfast served until 11.00 which was welcome as we had had a tiring journey. Excellent location next to train station, and close to the beach and port for boats to Portofino. Great staff that helped with our plans for exploring Cinque Terre. il Nostromo is a great restaurant in the street infront of the hotel (Tuna Tartar for appetizer, Pistachio crusted fish for main course and Tiramisu for dessert - Best meal of the trip).

  I really liked this hotel, I feel myself like at home, I would give more stars to hotel, the owner was so nice lady at reception she explained everything so well in English and gave so many advises how many sightings are around and what are the best ones, I was amazed about the cleanliness in the room, bathroom and the white ironed bed linen.   The hotel is perfectly placed on the water- I highly recommend the sea view rooms. The walk from the train station wasn't bad at all, and we had no trouble finding the hotel.   This Hotel own beach club is definatly great thing - city beaches is far and crowd. Also there a indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Staff is professional - almost everybody speaks at few languages. Excelsior have two resto and two bars - they are OK, selections of food and wine is enough for foodies and wine lovers. Usually when abroad I prefer to eat in different places to try more and to see new places, but here I was ready to have every dinner in Eden Roc:) Staff is extremely helpful and friendly (they have also Russian-speaking personnel as well as Russian chennels).   Fantastic location. Most beautiful view of the cost. Great staff. Front desk staff is really attentive and more than welcoming. Really nice room. Great breakfast. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. Although no parking across the hotel on Wednesday, we easily found parking across the street and it was not very expensive.   The familiarity of the manager, the choice of the room that pleased usthe most, a better room for the same price because I asked for a bath inmy reservation form. - Room comfortable, we missed breakfast on first morning cos I did not allow for time change.   Lovely clean rooms (my husband and I had one double room and my 80 year old parents a second double room). One room had a small balcony. The hotel was only a few minutes' walk from the town and the waterfront. Beautiful breakfast and very helpful reception staff. We could use the computer in a lounge to access emails from home. The owners are wonderful and they are very helpful in doing all they can to make your stay enjoyable. The bus system is also very easy to use to visit Rapallo and Portofino. - The service was sooo wonderful. The owner and her husband treated us so good during our stay. She delivered breakfast to our room (homemade croussants and much more) The rooms were so comfy newly renovated and decorated so nice. My favorite was the soft blankets and comfortable kink size beds also a large bathroom. Definate thumbs up!
