  Hotel Martino is located on the coast on the outskirts of Maratea, Italy. It is a great little budget hotel with amazing views of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and they spoke a little English. They had a restaurant "on site" and offered a continental breakfast included with your stay. We would absolutely st... vad folk säger » ay there again! (Just be sure to go during the "summer" season starting on June 1st - more amenities!) - Great location and close to restaurants for dinner. There is one attached to the hotel which makes it convenient but if you want something other than seafood you may have to find another place to eat. Breakfast was included and it was a great way to start the day. The town of Maratea is close by as well as other sites that are quite and beautiful. Would recommend staying here to anyone looking for a spot a little off the beaten path.

  The location on the seafront was wonderful with excellent access to the beach and the garden around the swimmingpool was very pleasant.The food in the restaurant was very good as was the service.

  It was a lovely place - near to a nice beach and well located for exploring Maratea. Pool area was as beautiful as it looks in the pictures, if a bit cold! There was also a nice roof sun terrace where you could watch the sun go down! We stayed in the attic room as we were looking for something quite budget (it was cheapest!), and it was perfect f... vad folk säger » or us - comfy, spacious and a really good power shower. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, even patient with our lack of italian! There was a rea - Nice hotel, we used it as our base for two days, so didn't really use its facilities, room really had a sunset seaview, very nice/ Room very clean. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Very nice restaurant nearby - just walk towards Maratea itself 200 meters and you'll see it in a small garden. Can't say anything about beach access, I think it's nearby.

  1) The gardens and pool area were fabulous and spotlessly maintained. 2) The hotel itself is beautiful and, again, spotless. 3) Our room was elegant and nicely furnished. It was a bit small (and we requested a sea view and didn't get one) but it was comfortable and had mod cons in working order. 4) Breakfast was excellent and it was great to sit ... vad folk säger » outside with a view of the sea. 5) The view and the surrounding area are stunning, we loved the crickets singing all day. 6) Maratea is a pretty town - These accomodations were actually "Heaven on Earth" The location, cleanliness, food, staff, room, grounds, and anything other that I have missed it could not have been any better. We can not wait to return as this truly is a wonderful place. They have gone over the top - you made our stay a very memorable one - thank you!

  This is a gem, staff delightful, rooms great, food excellent and reasonably priced. The hotel is not by the sea, but has an excellent pool. The area is fasinating, particularly when we were there in May. We stayed one night but would have liked to stay longer. - Staff very helpful and charming.

  Personal attention was very friendly, they make you feel at home and offer their help at any requirement from guests.   The setting is breathtaking and the staff is amazingly attentive. Sonia e Biagio, mille grazie per tutto e tanti saluti. :) Great room, romantic atmosphere, free wifi, free parking (though watch out as you exit the main road - the little street leading to the house is very narrow and steep), great terrace with seaview. We were made to feel so welcome on arrival and were greeting in reception with a plate of nibbles and a glass of wine which went down well after the long drive. The beach seemed like our own private beach just a short walk away. View from our window and terrace was spectacular.
