  Although I am Dutch, and I never write recommendations, I really like to write this recommendation in English because everybody has to know the following about La Pieve Di Sant'Andrea and it owners: This B&B has most exceeded our (me and my girlfriend) expectations so far. It is a completely renovated villa with a 13th century monastery, locat... vad folk säger » ed on a hill with a beautiful garden and surrounding, only 10 minutes away from the city Luca, 30 minutes from Pisa and 25 minutes away from the coast - Very special and different from usual hotels. Friendly owners even lent us a sun umbrella for the beach at Forte Dei Marmi. Great place to relax. Wonderful breakfast with different home made items each day and we were given foil and plastic bags to take the surplus for lunch. Also plenty of free bottles of water. Like living in your own historic house. Comfortable beds and you really felt like being in Italy with the decorations in each room and the large wooden roof beams. We were given a

  The lovely villa is set in the peaceful countryside,the only sound you hear at night is the clock town from the nearby village church. The owners are friendly and courteous and always willing to help with directions and any other questions you may have. Our room was a good size with lovely views and was immaculately clean. - Romantic room with high ceilings and a nice view and lovely garden for sitting outside. Staff spoke excellent English and was friendly and helpful. Very short drive to the city of Lucca, good strong coffee for breakfast. WLAN available. Excellent local restaurant 3 minutes away (Il Borghetto del Castello).

  The Relais Victoria is wonderful. Beautiful Tuscan villa with perfectly maintained pool and gardens. Great place to go to relax and escape into the quiet countryside, but still close enough to Lucca to have dinner in the evenings and to go on walks and hikes.   Facility and host were exceptionally delightful. Located off the beaten track so if looking for night life may not want to stay here. We arrived late and had not eaten dinner, but host put together some food for us to eat. Seemed like outdoor activities such as hiking would be good. Even the neighbors in this small town were helpf - Clean, nice hotel, which is a very nice and classic Italian country house with perfect view, right under a castle, in a typically italien village. The owner, the host was very very friendly and helped us immediately if we had a question, gave good advices what should we visit. You can reach easy Lucca, Pisa, Florence, with a stack of "must see" attraction. In the other way You can find beatufil nature, with mountains, small roads.

  Vi bodde 3 nätter och hade kunnat stanna längre. Bra läge nära Pisa, lugn och avspänd atmosfär, familjärt bemötande med hund och katter, boendestandard topklass, poolen välskött, fantasiska omgivningar och trevliga mycket prisvärda middagar tillsammans med övriga gäster. Kommer återvända! - We stayed three nights with Monica and Stefano and enjoy... vad folk säger » ed every bit of it. We ate with them for the three nights and really enjoyed trying all the local dishes--at 25 euros per person including wine and after dinner liquors---excellent. One of my friends was coeliac and they catered for all her requirements perfectly. I can't wait to go back----- says it all really. - We had a super time during our stay in Casolare Dei Colli! After one week it was very hard to leave and to say good bye.We absolutely want to return to again experience the beautiful environment and dear hosts.
