  Perfect quiet location. No activities for children. We were glad there were only adults. The food is of very high class but still at a reasonable price. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. There is a short walking distance (trafic no problem for adults who are fully mobile) to town ,Laveno where you will find traditional Italian resturants -... vad folk säger » but avoid the pizza on the market square, even for lunch. We had a totally magnificent holiday for 5 days, totally relaxed luxury. Would like to come - This was quite a surprise because the outside does not impress but the inside is very well done with modern fixtures. We were very impressed with the restaurant especially the degustation menu. The owners are doing it up so the outside will probably be modernized during the quiet season.

  Friendly, family-run hotel in excellent location that made our stay most enjoyable. The decor is not new, however well cared for and the hotel is certainly clean.   A very unique location next to Lago Maggiore. Fantastic view over the lake, very good food at a diner next to the lake, nice and warm team that makes you feel as you are at home. Also Laveno-Mombello is highly recommended to visit, you can take the cable lift up to 1100m for a nice view over the lake. Excellent warm friendly service, perfect English and the best hotel restaurant food to accompany the breathtaking view over the lake.   We liked the hospitality of this small and well situated hotel in an old Villa. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The place is quiet yet on walking distance of shops and restaurants. Parking on site. Breakfast is good and for €20 you can enjoy a well prepared dinner served outside, weather permitting. We enjoyed our stay.
