  We used Turin as a starting point for driving into the Alps and Tomato was an ideal place to stay. It is an easy walk from Turino Porta Nova station. Tomato was one of our lowest price stays in Italy but it turned out to be one of our best, by far the best value. A free light breakfast was unexpected. The common kitchen was well eq - A very beautiful and clean hotel and better than any other 2 stars hotel. Clean, quite with nice location. The gentle man who run the hotel is very nice and helpful and speaks good English. We enjoyed staying their and of course will choose it if we visit Torino again. The books in the lobby is a great idea.

  The staff was excellent and very helpful,The room although single was quite big and even the bed was queen size. Bathroom was also big and inclusive of all facilities.Hotel location is excellent just across the road from the main train station and the airport bus Terminus.   The double room up one flight of stairs was spacious, light and airy with a very comfortable bed. The spacious shower alcove with good water flow was a bonus. The proprietor was friendly & spoke excellent English which was helpful as our Italian is minimal. The hotel cat is delightful & was a special part of our stay. Travelling with a small baby could be a challenge, but not here. It was very easy and the owner is lovely. We have stayed here before and it just keeps getting better.
