  Absolutely brilliant location if arriving by train to Venezia's Santa Lucia station. Less than five minutes leisurely walk with luggage. When you come out of the station the Grand Canal is in front of you, turn left and as you reach the bridge (which will be on your right) vier left and the hotel entrance is on your left in a few seconds. We found the free W - Location was perfect and was just 100 metres from the train station, easier to find the hotel, remember it's very difficult to find hotels in the small streets of Venice and it can be very difficult with a small kid and a big baggage to travel in the crowded waterbus.   The owner of the Dolomiti hotel is a very lovely lady. I didnot get the chance to meet her before I checked out of the hotel but I would like to express my thanks for giving us the beautiful room to stay. After checking out we left our lugages at the reception area inorder to continue our venture in Venice. Therefore - Located on a small street just near the railway station and vaporetto stop, which is very comfortable when you arrive to Venice. Besides hotel was very clean and neat, staff very friendly and professional. We had to stay for one more night unexpectedly so as our room was already booked they found us a nice room for the same price. Rich breakfasts which was great for such a budget price. I am very happy for we chose this hotel.

  although the guesthouse's entrance is located in a funny little alleyway, and you have to carry your bags up 2 flights of stairs yourself (no lift), our room was big and comfortable. We liked the location. Also, the guesthouse is located next to a vibey piazza where all the artsy locals hang out, so - This hotel was fairly close to everything. Hotel was close to a square with many restaurants and bars. Room was clean and air conditioned. Room was not fancy but was fine and the hotel was a good value. Staff did not speak English but were still nice.
