  My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Hotel A La Commedia during a recent weekend away in Venice. Great location, friendly staff, beautiful room and nice big bathroom with large tub and multiple shower heads with excellent water pressure. Perfect base to explore Venice, perfect place for a romantic, relaxing weekend away. Highly recommended! - Fabulous friendly staff who greeted us by name and didn't have to ask our room numbers when we left key with them, plus recommended great restaurants. Our suite was large with gorgeous decor and big modern elegant bathroom; our own bougainvillea-lined balcony; in historic district; complimentary cold breakfast in lovely dining room; our favorite hotel of the 6 we stayed in on this trip.

  Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location walking distance to St. Marks (5 mins) and easy to get to other places via public transportation.   Absolutely loved it. The owner, Matteo came and met us at Rialto Bridge, from there it was a few minutes walk to the hotel. St Marks square was just a few minutes walk too. We were upgraded from out triple room (on the canal, which was delightful) to two very large adjoining rooms on the canal, with a double length balcony! It was stunning. There are um - The experience of staying here was excellent even before we arrived! As we were arriving really late into Venice, Matteo assured us it was no problem to meet us at San Marco vaporetto and walked us to the B&B! A nice touch so late at night! The B&B was perfectly located just a few minutes walk from St Marks square and less than 10 from Rialto bridge - generally close to everything we wanted to see and do as a tourist!   läge/pris/städning/fräschör - It was in a very nice area of San Marco, right by all the high-end shopping and 2 minute walk to the square. It also was one of the cleanest rooms I've ever stayed in. - Great location. Room was fantastic, smart decor, lovely and clean, bathroom fantastic!! Pleasantly surprised!!

  Lovely B&B clean,comfortable, Marco was fabulous and very knowledgable and made it very easy for us to find it by sending an email with very detailed instructions on how to get there, this was very valuable when you are in Venice, so many things are within easy walking distance, Rialto Bridge and Saint Mark's Square just to name a couple all i... vad folk säger » n all we had a lovely stay - Hotel is very close to San Marco square. It is situated in a historic building with nice spacious rooms and is very clean and tidy. Italian breakfast in the morning is quite enough to keep you going. We liked everything. The only issue might be for people who have a lot of luggage, while this hotel is not equipped by the elevator - but it was not an issue for us.
