  Generator was a great place to stay in Venice. Even though it is on Giudecca, there is a vaporetto stop near the hostel and getting to St. Mark's Square is quick and easy. Staff were generally helpful and made a special effort to help us locate a lost piece of luggage at the airport. We stayed in a 4 bed with an en suite bathroom that was clean, s... vad folk säger » pacious, and had a great view. The lobby was inviting and modern, and the breakfast is a good value. Certainly better than your average budget hostel. - They helped me to charge my phone when my cable got broken. Very comfortable beds with lights that don't disturb others. Quite cheap, good breakfast for additional price. It was a half-populated 16 person dorm, but it was comfortable to stay there. It is on a separate island from the city center, but public transport is working all the night so it's not a problem.

  The staff were fantastic. Both young women were friendly, courteous and helpful. When we mixed our dates up and blythely overstayed, they worked out a way to accommodate us in their fully-booked hostel. The location is terrific. We were in Venice for the Biennale and walked to all the Pavilions from the hostel. We discovered it was quicker to walk... vad folk säger » than take a vaperetto to the Giardini and Arsenale. We also enjoyed the very social gatherings around the breakfast table with women from all corners - The space is nice to be in. I liked the old building itself with marble floors, high ceilings, big breakfast room and nice living room where guest can sit and talk, it adds to the feel of the city. It was incredibly clean during all the 5 days that I stayed. The staff is very friendly. The location is central. It's a women only place, so if you are not looking for a mixed noisy crowed it is perfect.

  It's a nice place and the staff and people live there are nice. The building is cute and locates near churches and waterbus, though It's a little hard to find, but it's always hard to find a specific place in Venice. And you can check out by just left the key so it's really flexible.   I stayed for one night, and it was perfect. If you are looking for a hostel to stay for a few nights, this one is perfect. 10 min. from St. Marco Place. The owner is a really nice and helpfull guy, he gave me a map and showed me where i could go. Really appriciated his help.   It is a very good relation of price and quality. the accomodation was the cheapest i could find anywhere in center of Venice for end august, beginning of september and yet it was quite good quality. The room was o.k., i had single room. I could choose from a few shared bathrooms (with shower), that were clean and always was one of them at least em... vad folk säger » pty. of course there was water on all floor after shower so it wasnt good to use this bathroom then, but you could go and find another bathroom and le - I heartily recommend this hostel for one reason. I made a dumb move there the first night and left my wallet in the washroom with 200€ inside. Some minutes later I realized this and thought I was surely in trouble. I opened the door to my room and about to knock was a staff member who said someone had returned the wallet. All the money was still there. I don't recommend leaving wallets around. However, at a more run-down or wild hostel you could not expect such an outcome. So the fact that the

Given that I hate Venice because of the unfriendliness of the locals and awful food for tourists, having a nice room - First, This is the best location ever! I felt so lucky to walk out the door and have all the main places from 5_10 minutes walk. Emilio was very helpful. his instructions confused me and he came to walk with me from the water boat stop. the rooms are big and you get a big wardrobe for your things' lock included.
