  the location was brilliant. got on the grand canel and the water taxi stopped right at the hotel front door. staff and room was all very nice. breakfast was the best we had during our two weeks in Italy.

  The hotel is basic but really good value for money. The decor is dated but is really clean and tidy. We had cleaners come into the room daily swept moped and clean towels and sheets. The hotel is basically on the front of the canal about 1min walk from san marco square. Everybody was friendly and helpful. They allowed us to store our bags for several hours after we checked out so we could sightsee until it was time to catch our train.

Very helpful getting our bags to the room, which was no easy task as I was travelling for three weeks and required vacation and work clothes!
