  The location was perfect, walking distance to everywhere. The neighbourhood is quiet, safe at night, restaurants, shops, and the best gelateria just in front of the hotel. Maria was a super nice host. The room was spacious and comfortable.   This hotel costs about half what a comparable room in nearby hotels cost. The difference is that there is no full-time desk clerk in a lobby here. The manager meets you to give you the keys and make sure you're properly settled in, then you're on your own (with his cell number to call if there are any problems--which there were not, during our sta... vad folk säger » y). The room was spacious (by European standards), the bed was comfortable, and everything was very clean. I have no complaints. - Camere Corona was perfectly situated to see all the beautiful places in the centre of Rome. Marco was extremely friendly, organised transport from the airport which was wonderful as our plane was delayed and arrived very late. He gave us all the information and map of Rome that we needed to see and enjoy our stay.

  Location was great and the staff was very friendly and polite. First day they gave as a great map of Rome which was very useful and we didn´t need another one. All main atracttions were close enough to walk. Rome is really fascinating and impressive town. Room was very clean, but bathroom is a bit too small. There are ministries and good shops and restaurants nearby. The reception staff were very kind and helpful. There was a bottle of delicious welcome wine in the room which was nice. I also enjoyed the continental breakfast, especially the good cappucino.

  Now this was a beautiful hotel! From the pre-arrival emails that provided great advise, to the excellent customer service throughout our stay. The room was beautiful (we had room 307). All the fixtures were high end, and the space a very well designed and comfortable. The bed was total luxury! And the shower facility was excellent.   Our favourite room with balcony through Europe, you pay for central location, cannot speak highly enough of the excellent staff "thank you" - I've stayed there twice before, and would again.

  Giorgio was great all the time and very friendly, the bathroom and room was very clean and very nice decorated and the heat worked perfect. We had some trouble with the internet (problems of the internet service company, not of the hotel) and Giorgio solved it the next day. We will come back on our next trip to Rome! - Very clean. Giorgio was kind and professional despite my flight being delayed until past the normal check-in time. He speaks excellent English. (Just to be clear, this is not so much a hotel as an apartment rental, so don't expect lobby, etc. you would expect from a hotel.)

  We had a great time in this 'guest house', as it's not a hotel. We took a double room, it's was really new, clean and very well maintained. Breakfast buffet was opened for our access anytime during the day and night, but not to say that it's not to be abused, it's a small buffet but efficient.   A chauffeur service from the airport was a welcome additional service. The apartment was opened for us on arrival. This has not been the case at other apartments I have stayed at in Europe. Our host provided a helpful introduction to the apartment and the local neighbourhood. It is in a great location. It is an easy walk to metro stations and the ... vad folk säger » sites of Ancient Rome. A washing machine was a welcome addition after travelling for a couple of weeks. We didn't need a clothes dryer, because the we - friendly welcome service (our plane arrived late, and we arrived at the apartment past midnight - no complaint, no extra charges). We broke a lamp, but it was no problem at all. "Viminale" is an excellent location (also friendly and helpful neighbors - not seedy at all, as somebody wrote). Many sights within a short walking distance (colloseo, foro Romano, etc.). Nearby Metro gets you quickly and cheaply (1.50 euro for age 12 and up) to Vatican city.
