  Very stylish architecture, extremely well kept garden and swimming pool, beautifully designed interior and rooms, comfortable beds, good sound-proofing, excellent breakfast (probably the best hotel breakfast we've ever had), very good restaurant (though we tried only the "casual" one), entire staff very service-minded and friendly, free shuttle in... vad folk säger » to town, free gym open 24hrs and last but not least: the location! You can even see the top of the St. Peter's while swimming in the pool. - I had three wonderful days here and already want to go back. My room was compact but very comfortable and clean. I had a facial and a manicure and it was real luxury. The pool is fantasic for the centre of Rome as it allows you to have the best of both worlds. City at night /Poolside relaxation during the day

  Staff were very friendly and helpful. Superior rooms were large with nice bathrooms. We walked to lots of major attractions: Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Colloseum and Roman Forums were all 15 - 20 minutes easy walk away. Metro also two blocks away for a 7 minute trip to the Vatican Metro station. Hotel breakfast was continental but sufficient a... vad folk säger » nd nice and easy before starting the day. My wife and daughters found plenty of shopping nearby, especially on and around Via Nazionale which is 40m f - Nice and cozy rooms with new modern furniture. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, they recommended very good restaurants in Rome and also helped us find some of the locations we wanted to visit. It's a small place, but very clean and with a good vibe, we felt safe and it was a pleasure to come back after a day walking. Breakfast was simple, don't expect more than for a typical 2 stars hotel, but we found it enough for all tastes. The rest of the hotel however was much above 2 stars.

  This hotel is in a prime location, we are two couples in our late 40s and walked everywhere. The pantheon and piazza Navone were an easy 10 minute walk, Vatican 25 minutes, colliseum 15 minutes, LOCATION, LOCATION really important for Rome. The quaint narrow streets with plenty of tabacchi,shops,bakeries, restaurants is ideal. The hotel has TWO roof terraces on floor - We stayed three nights at the hotel and enjoyed every minute. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous, the rooms clean - although the shower and elevator were each about half the size of a phone booth, and the breakfast was very good. But what made this hotel so delightful was its location. The neighbourhood is vibrant and exciting, with restaurants, shops and people going about their business everywhere.   We stayed at Relais De L'Opera for our honeymoon in Rome and it was an excellent choice. We were contacted in advance and offered various options for a transfer to the hotel from the airport, and chose a private driver who was there and waiting for us.
