  We were very surprised that the B&B is located in a normal apartment house but Alessio was a very good host. He also gave us very good tips were to go for a dinner and where to go shopping. The location is very convenient just few minutes walk from subway. It was a very pleasant stay and we would recommend staying at Domina Romae B&B. - T... vad folk säger » he host was very friendly and they helped us if everything. It was our first time in rome and we didnt check in advance what we are going to do. After 10 minutes talking to our host, we got thousand ideas what we could do. They also gave us usefull information about the rome pass and restaurants that are really worth visiting.

  Almost everything! The owner- Alessandro was very helpful and nice, creating friendly atmosphere! Very cosy rooms daintily decorated. Perfect location for this money- just a few steps from Aurelia subway station. And thanks to the directions given by Alessandro it is very easy to find. Good breakfast (the cake made by Sabrina was very-very tasty! ... vad folk säger » Thank you!) So this nice place had everything I expected from B&B and plus famous Italian hospitality! And not far away from Vatican City, even by - Alessandro is great and I think he is the main difference compared with other B&B . He has been trained and worked in big hotel chains. He knows what traveller wants and he has passion with his B&B, which is different with other hotel employees. I wish he could keep this passion! The B&B is very clean and quiet, big room, nice bath room, similar as general 4 star hotel. Very nice free espresso, tee, and the home made cake.   Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and helpful, providing us maps and directions for visiting the city. They speak English very well. The location is excellent, as you can walk for 10 minutes to get to Piazza San Pietro or to Musei Vaticani. The hotel is very close to the metro station which gets you anywhere else in the city and also has a b... vad folk säger » us station just in front of it. They serve very good cappuccinos as well :) Would definitely stay there again. - It's a 20 minute walk to the Vatican, maximum 10 minutes to the subway. At the Valle Aurelia Station you go up an then go by foot on Via Anastasio II. Also there is a bus station in front of the hotel, with 2 buses leading in different areas in the city center. The room was simple with old furniture, but it was clean, with enough space and a nice balcony. All in all, it's a good place to crash when on a budget; good value for money.
