  Although this was not close to the train station and it is quite expensive to travel on the water taxi to get to the hotel, it was in a great location close to Piazza San Marco and the lovely quiet area and gardens of St. Elena. We were able to walk with our luggage back to the train station on departure once we were able to navigate our way around... vad folk säger » Venice. - Despite arriving late (11pm), somebody was waiting outside to welcome us. The suite is very spacious with high ceilings, 50" tv, 2 balconies, jacuzzi. It is very quiet area. The owner is sympatic. He speaks various languages.

  Really enjoyed our stay here. Just realize that European hotels are different from us cookie-cutter hotels. Tucked away from noisy tourist crowds. Charming small pensione with fantastic views. Felt like a local. Canal views from each room, favorite part of the day was opening a bottle of proscecco and sitting in the window sill watching seranading... vad folk säger » gondolas go by. Hot croissants, meats, cheeses, cappucinos for breakfast complete with another canal view. Simona was great. Credit cards not a probl - Great location. Air-conditioned room. Friendly owner and staff.

  Davide was very helpful with all our questions before and during our stay. Everyone else there was also very pleasant. A very quiet place, especially for the great location between San Marco and Rialto Bridge. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the bed quite comfy. No elevator, but Davide carried up our suitcase - to the top floor - ... vad folk säger » and we were used to stairs at this point, so the climb didn't bother us. Wi-fi worked and it was nice to have someone at the desk until 7:00. We wo - Location is great! It takes just 5 minutes to reach San Marco, the same time you will need to walk to Realto, and 20 minutes leisurely to Train Station S.Lucia. But the most important thing is friendly considerate personnel!

  We loved that it was so easy to get to and from the Realto Bridge for arrivals and departures and for additional day trips... It was wonderful to be able to walk to and fro to San Marco's Square and despite the close proximity, the price was very reasonable. The hotel was spotless and breakfast plenty and delicious. They provided locked up baggage servic - The staff could not do enough for us and treated us like silk worms. Nothing was a problem. Directions, hints, tips and must see all explained thoroughly. I was nervous about getting from the airport on our own, but the directions were very clear and the hotel easy to find. The location was perfect between the Rialto and St Marco square-we couldn't have picked better! Very impressed with how friendly the staff are and how welcomed we felt.
