  When looking for a hotel in Tropea, I selected the hotel with as few as possible negative remarks. We had planned a week of relaxing in Calabria to recover from a very stressful period at work, so we really wanted a 'safe haven' where there would be no annoyances and disturbances. This B&B turned out to be perfect for that: a nice, clean room,... vad folk säger » very friendly staff who were very helpful when we asked for information about excursions, a good shower with two shower heads (normal and 'rain showe - Beautiful building - other than Santa Maria dell'Isola, I think this was the nicest building in town. Lovely the way it is lit up at night. The breakfast was outstanding - offering all kinds of local foods I wanted to try (mozzarella di bufalo, black olives, sundried tomatoes in olive oil and many more), plus bread meat, cheese, variety of juices etc. all set in a lovely outdoor garden. Room was a bit small but decent.

  Stayed there for 4 days. Villino Eleonora is a pretty cool and classy place on the edge of small town of Parghelia. Territory is shared between owner's villa and house with rooms for rent. Hotel is located high above the sea, and overlooking part of Tropea and sea itself. Beach is also in walking distance, but don't make a mistak - We were delightfully taken back in time of grandeur staying at this beautiful B&B. The accommodations are separate from the main villa, with your own patio to sit and watch the view. The garden was peaceful and relaxing to walk in, Alessandro and his mother cooked the best breakfast that we had on our trip. Fruits, eggs, french toast omelette's, sweets, juices etc. with homemade jams. Everyday was a surprise as it was a different breakfast laid before us. We ate under the pogoda with colour

  Tropea är en plats att längta tillbaka till! Hotellet låg otroligt vackert med stor balkong ut mot havet. En fin strand dock med en lång brant trappa ner till den. Kvällslivet i Tropea gamla stad var en upplevelse.   Staff was amazing. We really felt treated as part of the family yet having privacy. Very nice breakfast with bellissimo cappuccino. It was ideally located just off the beach. Very comfortable bed.   Hotellet var på det stora hela helt fantastiskt. Det låg i en mysig liten gränd nära till både uteställen och strand (när man väl hittat trapporna). Mycket fina rum, modernt inredda men ändå med gammal charm. Vårt rum hade bjälkar i taket med takfönster så att man såg både hav och berg.   Fantastic B&B. Roberto and his wife are very friendly. They couldn't have helped us more and drove us and our luggage to and from the car park we left our hire car. Room is bright, spacious, clean and very charming. The view from the terrace where breakfast and dinner (apperitivo) are held is gorgeous, aspecially in the evening. Breakfast and apperitivo are very tasty, with fresh local food. Plus it gave us a chance to chat with other guests all we want. The last but not the least is the owner, Roberto. His welkomming, attentive and very friendly. He actually cares about his guests. We've enjoyed our stay.

  The time we spent at Piccilo Residence was unforgettable. Ideally located within easy reach of Tropea and Spiaggia del Nonno. Great service all round. The family that run the residence made us fell at home away from home. The beech del Nonno, by the way, conveniently included in the price which otherwise can be costly in the centre of Tropea. Good basic offer and several additional options changing every morning. Another important "pro" for those who stay for longer period.
