  A well kept secret - superb find. sadly looks as if it is no longer a secret. Whilst rooms may be on the small side, plenty big enough and bed comfortable. Bonus was that our bathroom was not ensuite, which probably gave us more room and a larger bathroom as well. Walk to St Mark's a real delight and not far, and just round the corner from La Fe - the location near everything and close to the waterbus stop; the great friendliness and professionalism of all reception staff members, whom seemed more to be like entrepreneurial friends/colleagues of each other rather than employees; the breakfast; the room comfort (with airco); the beauty of the façade and the little terrace

  although the guesthouse's entrance is located in a funny little alleyway, and you have to carry your bags up 2 flights of stairs yourself (no lift), our room was big and comfortable. We liked the location. Also, the guesthouse is located next to a vibey piazza where all the artsy locals hang out, so - This hotel was fairly close to everything. Hotel was close to a square with many restaurants and bars. Room was clean and air conditioned. Room was not fancy but was fine and the hotel was a good value. Staff did not speak English but were still nice.

  The location was very close to St Marks Square with wonderful restaurants and shops. Olga, was fantastic. The place was spotless and the breakfast was not your typical coffee and muffin. Olga served meat,cheese,yogurt, freshly squeezed juice, crackers croissants, espresso and cappuccino.   Liked everything about this hotel. Calm location away from the tourist hassle and just 5­-7 min walk from piazza San Marco. May be a bit far from the train station but for us it was not a problem, walking through Venice is a pleasure of its own. Besides you can always take a vaporetto which stops nearby. The rooms are big, warm, clean, nicely deco... vad folk säger » rated and very cosy. Breakfast was basic but ok (ham, cheese, cornflakes). In overall, good value for money we paid. - Very nice hotel. The incheck was very fast and the night receptionist was very helpfull. the room was very clean and the breakfast was also fine. We liked the hotel very much.
