We're just back from only 1 night's stay at this fabulous
country house. We arrived on Saturday afternoon to a welcome from Conor,
who immediately guessed who we were before we even introduced ourselves!

immediately began advising us to get out and about, exciting us with all
the - Bridget and Conor were very welcoming upon arrival at Gleannn Fia Country House. The grounds are beautiful, nestled along a babbling stream in a very peaceful, serene and quiet setting. Aftternoon tea was a special treat, as were the delicious breakfasts. Staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Conor's suggestions and directions for our trip along the Ring of Kerry were outstanding - including the recommendation to have pancakes (crepes) at Strawberry Field (they were to die

Brian was lovely. We arrived late around 9pm due to getting slightly lost on our way down and he offered to give us with some bread and butter etc to have a bite to eat since we were very tired and hungry. Helped us get settled in and showed us DVD's etc that we could use if we wanted to. Really nice spot and perfect to stay for the night to then

Brian and Beate were so sweet. I called to say I was running late for check in and they had no issue waiting for us to arrive. We were traveling with a baby and they offered to set up a baby bed for us. Breakfast was excellent. The atmosphere was so warm it made us feel right at home!

Anne and Finbar were exceptional hosts following an adventureous and spectaclur drive from Kenmare around the Ring of Kerry. This a is gem of a place! The location is great, right by the river and
close to the town and all its amenities and has ample parking. Our room
looked out over the river and had a delightful sitting area, was
comfortable and very clean. Anne and her husband are wonderful hosts and
full of local information should you need it. Great location for driving
the Ring of Kerry and Dingle peninsula etc. Breakfast was great too - if
you are looking to stay in this area you won't do better.

Wonderful friendly and helpful staff. Everything was clean and nice. The staff lent me an electrical adapter when mine would not work quite right in the outlet. Directions and advice about laundry were great!!
Centrally located made this a great option. I had recent knee surgery and appreciated the fact that there is an elevator.

Room was one of the best we had in Ireland. We had a triple and the room was large as was the bathroom. Recent upgrades and very functional for guests. Elevator made it very easy. Didn't hear any noise from late night bar singing. Super location right in the middle of Kenmare. Parking was easy on the street right outside hotel.

We stayed in the self contained apartment adjoining the house and were greeted with tea and biscuits on arrival. Joan and her helpers couldn't be more welcoming and easy going. The place was both spotless and comfy in equal measures. Some highlights were the memory foam mattress, large bath room, great breakfast, value for money and offer to sleep

We had wonderful time. Joan is very kind,very good to give advice and treat everyone like special guest. We got bigger room with king bed. Room was cleaned everyday. Breakfast very nice. Very happy with location. It 2 min drive from Killarney,not too close to all crowd. Really nice. We'll be back for sure.

The owners were friendly and helpful, offering options to pay via cash or credit card. They also worked with us to provide an alternate breakfast, as we had to leave early in the morning. The room was comfortable, clean and charming. Would recommend this BandB for future travelers to this cute village. - The staff were very courtous and helpful.
