The staff in the - The staff were unbelievably helpful, I left my phone behind in one of the bars and they absolutely tried their very best to locate it for me, even offered to let me walk around the bar in the morning to see if I could find it. I left my home telephone number behind on the off-chance that someone handed it in, got into the car and drove home to Dublin.   I travelled from Finland with friends to the Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel in July 2013. We had a wonderful stay with a very comfortable and extremely spacious room. Our friends were upgraded to a superior executive suite which was a nice surprise and we also received a big discount on parking.   Hotel was gorgeous just like what you see on website.. Staff where friendly enough. I was surprised when we arrived at our room that it was the same as on your website. Usually there is always a let down once getting to your room, its never usuaully the same as it was decribed and visually placed on the website. Both myself and partner where really happy with the place and will defo be visiting aga - A lovely hotel just a short walk into the town centre. The staff really could not do enough for us, they were probably one of the best hotel staff we have ever experienced. They definitely went beyond what they needed to. The hotel is lovely and clean and modern. The rooms were lovely and big, think we stopped in a deluxe. The breakfast was also very nice. There was a spa but we didn't have time to use it. Highly recommend this hotel - we will definitely be going back!!

  A great stay here. The staff were brilliant and it was difficult to fault this place in any way. Bang in the centre of town and handy for pubs and restaurants as well as the castle and cathedral. Breakfast - a comprehensive buffet, with tea & coffee served by the most welcoming waitress we've encountered, never mind first thing in the morning. Parking is available free, on site

  I liked the fact that you could get breakfast from room service any time you wanted and did not have to get up early and go to the dining room for it. The staff were excellent, the food was excellent and the location was excellent. The decor in the room was really nice too.   Very clean and modern B&B. Super friendly staff. Nice room and yummy breakfast. Highly recommend if you'll be staying around Kilkenny. It's not really within walking distance to City Center but they have a phone in the entrance area to easily call a cab (cost is about 10 Euro to get to the castle right near the town).
