Mertha jati was extremely cheap but everything u need while travelling. Friendly helpful staff, basic room but really spacious and clean. I would definitely use it again.
The prize is cheap in that area. The location is good and very near the sea and the centre. The staffs are nice. And I like the homestay house.

Price. fromVery near from the airport (be careful and not pick the firs taxi drive talk to you). I,ll pay 120.000 idr, but I think no more than 20.000-50.000 should be pay (by night no traffic).

The first room we stayed only has a big bed for two people and it is old and with no tables and chairs. The next day we change another room which has twin beds and feels it better. The water for shower is cold and the facilities are a little old.

We (2 men) had a 4 night twin room reservation, but they gave us a double room for the first night.

It was old and quite basic They advertise theŷ have wifi but does not work so this was annoying Staff speak only little English but enough to understand them.

Mosquitos. the facilities were old and broken.
Bad cleannig, dirty sheets, shower is a bucket. Very far from Kuta beach (even if you want only city) It,s a gang 3 kilometers far from Kuta. Even if you are arriving late from the airport try to get another place in Kuta beach. So you will save money to pay 2 taxis, or if you are not to keep in Kuta (I suggested it) in Kuta beach you can take a Perama turistic bus to Ubud (very nice place) for only 50.000 IDR.
Shabby rooms without any facilities. There is not even a hook for hanging your clothes or towels (you can however see the holes in the wall where such luxury once has been). It is however centrally located and very close to the airport. We stayed there for an overnight stay and the taxi to the Airport was there on time (3:30 am), so after all it was ok.
We have been travelling for 5 months across India and south east Asia, this room had the most Mosquitos and was the most unhygienic place!!
We left the next day, :(.
Had no sleep due to flying red ants landing on us through the

No point in saying you have a TV when its all in Indonesian.
