  This place is somewhere to stay if you are arriving at the bus station after the metro closes for the night, an easy walking distance. Hosts are nice, helped with my bags. Its not great by backpacker/budget accom standards- below average. Other reviews are saying this place is cheap- it is not cheap for Budapest- head into the city if you can and ... vad folk säger » pay less than half for a better location, better standard & facilites & location. - Location was good for me, because I arrived by bus and travelled further also by bus. It's close to the bus station, but not close to the centre. It's a park nearby, but on the whole the area is not really picturesque.

  The hotel was located in a quiet and green area, the security was high and there was parking on the private grounds of the hotel available (with CCTV and the area was well lit). The staff was very professional and very helpful, spoke good English. Unlike the info here, they did accept a pet dog for a fee. The hotel building also looks much better ... vad folk säger » than the photo they put here ! - Close to metro line and 10 minute ride to downtown. The front desk sells metro tickets. Value for money is amazing. Clean comfortable rooms. Free parking and decent breakfast. Wifi worked well.

  Mentha apartment is in the new building that is situated in a peaceful and quiet area. There are enough parking places on the street around the building if you are coming by car. Apartment is clean, bright and nicely furnished. He even took us on a quick night tour of the city pointing out landmarks and places on interest. Also Gabor offered to take us to the supermarket if we needed supplies. He took us into his apartment and explained the metro to us. The apartment was very clean and easy to stay in. It was better than the apartment we have in Sydney! It was a great place to stay, 5 minutes walk to the metro and 3-4
