Location is great, right next to a small square surrounded by Greek taverns, which every night was animated by tourists (each tavern has an excellent choice of dishes). The staff was friendly and polite. The rooms quite chic, nicely decorated in a variety of colors (for which the hotel truly deserves the name Colors). They also provided us w/ a remote control that allowed guests to change the lights' colors in the room! One word could describe the Colors Hotel: amazing!.
alla recensioner » Loved the location, right in the heart of Lakadiki -- a cute restaurant district. It is right across the street from the Bristol Hotel, an easy block from the seafront promenade and the docks, and right on the same square as a nice variety of restaurants and bars. Staff was friendly and very helpful--recommended a good restaurant and helped us with parking. I would stay here again for sure!. Excellent little hotel... Very clean, great design, great location, very comfortable, in the middle of very lively, beautiful area, great value for money, very nice, friendly and helpful owners... We definitely loved staying here and came back to stay again on our way back from our car trip around balkans. The design of the hotel was modern and fresh, the illumination in the room was inovative (specific to colors hotels). The hotel is situatied in the heart of Ladadika, very close to many interesting places in Salonic. They helped us to find a free parking space in proximity of the hotel. Excellent location for business and tourist trips,easy to find, next to bus station and taxi station. Modern design, friendly staff! I really liked the breakfast, fresh and tasty, with the option to take it away. Innovative ideas that will find many followers for sure!. Even we stayed only for couple of hours Colors Ladadika Central became one of my favorite places in Salonica. The building is old but renovated fantastically. Our room was perfectly clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful. If you want a hotel with a big lobby and a restaurant: don't go here. If you want a good room, good bed, good bathroom, good location and a very friendly and helpful staf: go to Colors Ladadika Central. Small but very nice. Don't think, just go for it, it is seriously a value for money hotel. We so enjoyed our stay there. The location is amazing, the staff are very kind, not to mention the cleanliness and the cosy atmosphere the room offers. A warm welcome and competent concierge. It is really a old hotel that was very good renovated. Not wheelchair accessible -- there is a luggage elevator to the 2nd floor and then a regular elevator for the 3rd and 4th. No rooms on the 1st. Nothing big, but parking is a hassle in this part of the city, which we managed by taking a small risk and parking at the back street of the hotel. Luckily didn't get a ticket... :). The air conditioner did not worked well in the first night, but they fixed it in the morning. The elevator si only from the first floor. Parking in Salonic is close to nightmare, and the hotel does not offers you parking, so you have to find a place by yourself, or choose the payed parkings, which are too far from the hotel, or too expensive. (Up to 39 euro per day). it isn't important for me, that there is no breakfast, but for wake up, I need coffee, so put coffee maker in the room :-). maybe the fact that the rooms look much bigger and nicer on the pictures than in reality, but they are still nice. A bit hard to find parking spot. all-night noise from the ventilation systems of the restaurants/ bars surrounding the hotel. The aircon wasn't working properly so the room was too stuffy at times and the price was slightly high for what it is in general but it was better than other places for sure. A bit noisy until 1-2am. some noisy from the streets around. The hotel's rooms are on a square in which there are lots of restaurants and pubs, many people shout until late hours. Depending on the floor and which street it is facing, the room could be abit noisy with the windows open. One floor stairs could be an issue for ladies with high heels... The parcing is too far from the hotel and you have to pay 5 euro per day. The next day they ask me for 4euro more becouse i was taking my car at 10 am. Abit too noisy from outside noise. Otherwise excellent. The room where I was had a ventilation noise coming from the window in the toilet. A bit noisy indeed. Too much noise in the night from surrounding bars!. There was a problem with the heating. I've got a deluxe room with sea view, but it is not! just only slim line between another buildings where you hardly may see a sea. The small kitchen in our room has not any equipment, no glasses, fork or spoon, nothing, even a bins. Little noisy. Very expensive for a room with so poor facilities and inattentively staff.Little more money and you may take a 5 stars hotel. It was the noisiest room ever. I woke up every 5 minutes because of the tavernas from the square. Pillows were awful and breakfast mediocre- they do for breakfast some sort of catering, therefore they give you damp sandwitches and really akward croissants. very noisy, no chance to sleep at night. Noise coming from the restaurants during the night Parking during the weekend will cost you minimum EUR 25 per night. It is located in a very loud area. We needed to sleep with ear-plugs. There is no reception. There is only a member in the staff. The lift starts at the first floor. It is not worth the money.
