  We have been impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of staff members. We also got free upgrade of our room to suite which was nice. Our 15 month old daughter, in particular, really appreciated the space provided. - Great location - very central. Room was large, very comfortable and well euipped. Staff were friendly and efficient.

The breakfast was quite good, with freshjuice, fresh fruit (both whole and sliced) , yogurt, scrambled eggs,mushrooms, bacon, an assortment of toasts, jams and cereals, and a nonsmoking section.   The location of Athos Hotel is perfect. We took the metro from the airport to Syntagma Square, then walked only about three blocks to the hotel. It's close to restaurants, sights and shopping, but on a quieter side street. If you can get a room on the 4th floor you can get a spectacular view of the Parthenon from your window. Either way the view from the roof is just as beautiful.. The shopping streets are close by too, as well as lots of good eating options.
