  Kind of old-fashioned but pleasant feeling. You feel like in a 1984 remake especially the breakfast room. I loved it. Very discreet yet helpful staff, and basic but comfortable room.   Central and safe location (Plaka). All main sights and museums were within walking distance. Loads of restaurants offering good Greek food at competitive prices. View of the Akropolis from our room and roof of the hotel, the latter is also used to serve breakfast. The rooms were not very big but very clean and air conditioned, the beds were very comfortab - It is a small boutique hotel that is conveniently located between Syntagma and Monastiraki square. It is right along the same street where the airport shuttle drops you off (walk along the street away from the Parliament about 3 blocks). I stayed here for a total of 4 nights with a break of 1 night when I went to Delphi. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I got a full orientation spill and city map when I checked in and my rooms looked like showrooms in an Ikea catalogue. They also let

  The staff is very helpful at all times and would recommend the best places in the city and how to reach, what to eat, etc. The price is really cheap and the hotel looks like a hostel for backpackers full of young people, so is highly recommended if you spend one or two nights and you don't want to spend a lot. Is only 5min walking from the city ... vad folk säger » centre and underground and train stations. - I really enjoyed my time at Soho, it is walking distance to the city center, acropolis, tubestation and nice restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was nice and comfortable with AC , fridge and bathroom. The price was extreamly cheap and definately worth. There is free wifi in the whole hostel. It was a very quiet hostel, so a good base to relax at.

  The location of Athos Hotel is perfect. We took the metro from the airport to Syntagma Square, then walked only about three blocks to the hotel. It's close to restaurants, sights and shopping, but on a quieter side street. A big plus was the super-friendly restaurant right across the street, where I could get a half carafe of wine to take to the h... vad folk säger » otel's roof patio and have a drink while looking out at the acropolis. - The Athos is located within walking distance of the Plaka area and the Acropolis as well as the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian's Arch...we are walkers but this is easy walking. If you can get a room on the 4th floor you can get a spectacular view of the Parthenon from your window. Either way the view from the roof is just as beautiful.. The shopping streets are close by too, as well as lots of good eating options.
