  I like both the location of the hotel and the host. They are family, always with smile, helpful, easy, flexible and care for guests. George, Barbara and their daughter are fantastic. room is great. George, Barbara and their family went out of their way to make me feel at home and gave me all the information I needed to make my stay an enjoyable one. Great location and value for money, close to bus stop, included transfers to and from the port, on-site parking, easy access to Fira by foot, and fantastic service!

  We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Margarita, even though there were electricity problems on the island while we were there. The breakfast was great, and the staff were lovely, leaving fresh fruit for us from their farm and dropping us to the port when we left. Good pool.   Att det ligger så nära till Thira (gångavstånd). Att man får hämtning till och från flyg/färja. De har en underbar pool. - The manager was fantastic - our ferry was 2 hours late and he waited at the port for us the whole time. He also gave good advice on where to visit, how to rent an ATV, laundry in the area, etc. The rooms were cleaned everyday,... vad folk säger » and were spotless! The area is quiet, and Fira is an easy 10 minute walk - this is where the bars, clubs, etc. are located. Great hotel! - Excellent budget choice within a short walking distance of the local bus stop and Fira.Clean, comfortable rooms and a nice swimming pool.The family that owns the property is very hospitable.

  You can rent a car or an ATV or scooter directly from the hotel at very good prices. better prices than what I saw in Fira. The staff is great they were super friendly and helped us out with everything we needed. The staff gets a 6/5 rating. - everything ! : good quality of the room, calm and relaxing, reasonable price for Santorini, the swimmin... vad folk säger » g pool and most of all the kindness of the owners (they cam to pick us up at the harbour and drove to the airport... :-)

  Pension George is run by a family who take such great care of their guests. For instance they picked us up at the port when our ferry came in at 1:00 am and dropped us off at the airport and port when it was time to leave--with no extra cost! Karterados is a 15 minute walk to Firos --but if you are interested in the people of Santorini--Karterad... vad folk säger » os is where many of them live. There are great tavernas--Savas is one-- close by that are cheap and have amazing food. We toured the island everyday - Location was quiet and away from crowds of tourists in Fira. Only a 20 minute walk to Fira or 5 minute bus ride. The little village has retaurants if you don't want to go to Fira and of course cheaper! Helen the owner is an English woman married to a Greek so her English is perfect which can be handy!!   The hotel is simply perfect. A real paradise. Their owner (Anna and Artemis) are very pleasant and helpful people. Every time I go to Santorini I will get hosted there. - everything was great. the hotel a bit far from the town but artemis drives you everywhere.

  Babis and his family are so very kind and helpful. For high season I think the value was excellent. Short walk into Fira was easy. Bus stops to beaches outside hotel plus there are eateries , a supermarket etc just around the corner. It was nice to stay in a village opposed to right in town plus to are close to town anyway. Shuttle service into Fira on the hour was - This is the place! I can't quite describe it otherwise, but this place feels like "home." We received 5 star quality service as the owner who is also the concierge, receptionist, driver to many excursions, and the driver from and to the airport is always there when you need him! I honestly can't figure out how he does it. The rooms are clean, neat, and serviceable with a feeling and style from this island. Oh, and the wi-fi was very useful. Everything was great for us!

  The room was very spacious with a kitchen area and a balcony to dry clothes and relax. We felt very much at home and there is no curfew. The guesthouse is only 5 minutes walk to the bus station, where you have convenient access to the beaches (black beach, red beach) and Fira (where the main bus station is and there take another bus to Oia). They have offered to give us a free ride to the guesthouse, and her husband and son even helped us - Very good and quiet location and a perfect base for exploring Santorini. Busstop, bakeries, supermarket, mini markets and tavernas within a few minutes walking distance. 15 - 20 minutes walk to Fira or catch the bus that runs frequently. The owners are very nice people who really make you feel welcome. At arrival they pick you up at the airport or the port and take you there again when you leave. Also the Wi-Fi in the room is reliable and fast. I will stay there again next time on Santorini.

  The staff, although they couldn't speak English very well were so friendly and very able to help us out in any way we needed. They cleaned our room every day and made it look nice and tidy, which was such a nice surprise. The room was very nice with a balcony, a refrigerator, air conditioning... The center of Fira was walking distance away, about ... vad folk säger » 20min or there was a bus station about 5-10min walk away. - If you are looking for a cheap hotel with a local feeling away from the crowd this is the place to stay. 15 minutes from Thira bus station, in a little village, Villa pavlina is a quiet hotel. The owners will be happy to help you with anything, plus you get free transfers from/to the hotel. We slept OK but could hear our neighbours.
