  Lovely room with beautiful views. Very helpful friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. We were met at the airport and then taken to the port to catch our ferry to Crete.   The location is a little bit remote without a car, but this provides more privacy. I think it's a very nice location compare to the rather busier and noisier Oia or Fira. The view is superb and you can see both sunrise and sunset on both sides of the hotel. The service of the staffs are second to none. We spent incredible honeymoon on Santorini, enjoying the senset from our balcony. We had a fabulous time with 6 adults and 3 small children. The kitchenettes were great for getting the kid's breakfasts. It goes without saying, watch the children around the pool as it is a plunge pool, all one depth, but beautifully maintained. Couldn't fault this place.

  The hotel is very very beautiful with the best location you can have in Santorini. We rented a Junior suit, with private jaccuzzi and it was just wonderful. Amazing sunset from your terrace, very nice bedroom. The owner is a ver nice person. The price may be a little too high if you do not book in advance or if you go in Summer time (depends on yo... vad folk säger » ur budget). If you have the money, do not hesitate, go for it (or try to book it in advance, with no refund, to have a little reduction). We were just - Villais villas is perfect. Our host Loukas bent over backwards to accommodate our every need. The suite was clean, modern and comfortable. Imerovigli is a 20-30 minute walk away from the capital (Thira) and has a couple of fantastic taverna's.   Location of the hotel is one of the best in Santorini. I am not sure about the altitude, but Imerovigli village is one of the highest points of the island which allows a magnificent view of Oia and Thirasia. I stayed there with my girlfriend whom I proposed during our stay. The ambient is just made for it. Hotel Kasimatis Studios was amazing, with the hot tube and nice privacy. Very good choice, and even cheaper than other hotels, without jacuzzi. Watching sunset while lying in the jacuzzi, it's unforgettable. Maria and all the hotel stuff are so helpful,(ordering taxi or a ATV with a good price) room and hot tub are cleaned everyday.   We enjoyed everything about our stay at Merovigliosso. They were kind enough to pick us up from our previous accommodation in Fira and even gave us an early check in. Roula was fantastic and provided us with details about the area and recommendations for restaurants. She even gave us gifts including a complimentary bottle of wine. We only stayed here for 2 nights out of the - Staff was very friendly and helpful. Provided shuttle services from seaport/airport. We booked the option with breakfast. The breakfast was so good. They bring it to your room so you can enjoy it with the sea view. They gave us so much food, and we can order anything we like with no extra charge. We're always so full after the breakfast. :) (They said continental breakfast, but it's more like a hot breakfast!) Location is great, quiet and still able to see the sunset.   Highly recommended, with views of the sunset/caldera to die for. An excellent mid-range option. Langas has the same private balcony views and a nice pool (albeit very small) as its luxury neighbors like Astra and Gold Suites, but at far less cost.
