  The views are superb. The location is convenient,. It's very peaceful and quiet. Though small, the studio apartments are comfortable. Beds are comfortable and there is always hot water. - everything about the Mirabella it is a real friendly place family run and very helpful with an English manager who goes out of her way to help you

  We had a beautiful two bedroom apartment - ideal for a family or small group - with good facilities for cooking. We loved the double balcony with fantastic views of the bay. At 70 Euros per night, between three of us, it was excellent value for money. - Restaurants and the main port area were a short walk away.   The hotel is beautiful, the grounds are lovely, the swimming facilities are stunning with lots of little terraces built out into the sea. I don't know how busy the hotel was but there were always loungers available. The access to sea swimming was the best thing for us. We ate all our meals in the hotel and they were great.   Value for money here is phenomenal. Rooms are and have all that you would expect/require in terms of size, comfort and cleanlinesss. The design and location are magnificent, the pool lovely and the service top notch (they even sent us our sweaters via snail mail at no charge since we accidentaly left it at the hotel). Also, Vangelis cooks like the... vad folk säger » best of them, so we ended up eating here most of the time (go for the special of the day). - We arrived only around 11pm and did not have dinner yet. Vangelis still cooked us a quick but delicious meal. The room was big and well equiped, the wifi worked perfect the whole time, the swimmingpool + poolbar was great for lazing around the whole day, plus excellent views over Elounda. Vangelis is really one of the best host/owner we've ever met! Don't miss out the sunday boat tour.

  Elounda Mare is perfection. We absolutely love this place and will definitely be back. Our room had beautiful views and was very spacious and very clean. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. After travelling all day we arrived quite late so the complimentary glass of champagne was very much appreciated as was the fruit basket in our room.   As others have noted, the location of this hotel overlooking the beach is lovely. The room was basically furnished but fine for our needs. Nice family who own the hotel and most guests seemed to be "regulars". There is a relaxed atmosphere around the pool area which is also very nice. Views stunning. Very well equipped very clean lovely owners. Can' fault it at all.
