  We chose this place for our hiking tours in the area around Kelheim/Althmueltal. We used a rental car to get back and forth between Kelheim (or other walking areas) and the guesthouse. The guesthouse is well kept and neat, with spacious and clean rooms. The lady receiving us was extremely friendly and determined to make our stay comfortable. An abundant and good br - Great family run establishment in a hamlet a couple of kilometers from Hausen. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Food is excellent, as is the beer from their onsite brewery.

  New owner, Peter, very friendly and informed. Room was beautifully remodeled with fabulous view of Lake Hopfensee and mountains in background. Took dry sauna in lower level and other amenities are being developed for spa like experience there as well. Breakfast at hotel was very, very good and lovely setting.   Our whole trip started out pretty bad, it was stormy and our GPS took us a weird route and to top it off our car got stuck and we spent forever to get it out with no luck so we were really late. Everything was clean and nice. The bathroom was amazing with a big tub and mood lighting available. In the morning breakfast was - Very good value for money. Very spacious room with a kitchen corner, large windows, a very nice view, big bathroom, excellent location, good breakfast; the hosts were attentive and responsive to our needs. Free WiFi.Thank You and Bravo! And on top of all, the restaurant which is about 150 meters up the hill is exceptional.
