  I'd best describe the hotel as a "very comfortable, high quality hotel with friendly backpacker hostel type ambiance". Everything has been thought of to make the stay easy, agreable and fun - including option for travellers on a budget. Despite the affortable rooms, I found more "travel essentials" being met at the SuperBude than at most 4* hotels... vad folk säger » . We stayed in double rooms and then updadet to the "Rockstar Suite" - definitely worth the money... Tip: if you're staying in the Rockstar Suite, bri - Everything is brand-new and pretty well designed. Very stylish and simple. Breakfast for additional price but that was a good choice of food. The location is excellent: lots of bars, cafes and fruit markets. Just across the hotel one can find small shop to buy fish sandwiches. The centre is reachable by S- and U-Bahn, at the hotel also one can borrow a bike (we didn't try but it supposedly included in price).

Room was small, but comfy, with street view. They've cleaned and arranged the room every day.   Very friendly and humorous staff. Nice, clean and spacious room/bathroom. Conveniently located next to Altona station with easy access to everywhere. We had reserved paid parking in the basement but still the receptionist gave us the choice to cancel it and park on the street for free. Free Wifi. Best bang for your buck for those travelers looking to country hop and need a clean and comfortable room. I've been traveling in Europe for two months and will now only stay at Meininger Hotels.   Great location, reasonable price, friendly staff, nice clean room, good bar and restraunt. - Staff were very helpful. I had trouble connecting my Mac to WiFi so a staff member let me use the receptions PC for internet use. A very large selection of items for breakfast. Queen size bed just for me.

  Fantastic value for money hotel/hostel in a great location. The room and bathroom was spotlessly clean and well appointed. The toilet was faulty but fixed almost immediately. The Bar had a great atmosphere and the staff we friendly, warm and welcoming. - Very clean, interestingly decorated rooms.   Cleanliness and comfort - The set up of the room is AMAZING! Mini-bar ( fair priced treats), ironing board, safe, great beds, closet, and the en suite bathroom was a dream come true! The room was VERY clean. The hotel is located steps from the train station, not exactly in the middle of Hamburg's action...but, a quick train ride from it.
